The man working the front desk was great - really friendl- but the hotel is really old - lots of dust everywhere, creepily floral sheets, and no hot water. the shower leaked into the main room and the bathroom door has a 1 inch gap on the bottom. The town is inexpensive and feels more authentic than the more touristy la fortuna and guancaste beach areas. The hotel is located across from some cheap sodas and grocery stores. Its fine as a cheap option in the area but i wouldn't say its a "great deal"
Pros: Right next to rio celeste waterfall (but you do need a car to access) and the sodas and grocery stores were fun. The front desk was nice
Cons: dust, clean, redo the cielings, new bedding
Location: rio celeste; cheap sodas and a grocery store. Thats pretty much it
