Beautiful hotel, had a wonderful suite w/ a park view that I could see the lighthouse, compass and carousel from. Large room, more than enough space for my family of 3. Everything is in walking distance, including the beach. However, if your like me and stay the day at the beach, it may be easier to drive as the hotel is on the bluff, and carrying multiple items down may be a tad difficult. Many great shops, and restaurants are a very easy walk. I usually have problems sleeping in hotels, usually the beds are very uncomfortable, but that definitely was not an issue here. My only complaint is parking. There literally is only about 15 spots for hotel guests - everything else is free city parking. Which is completely packed. I feel that there needs to either be a free valet offered or the hotel should secure some of those parking spots. Lets face it, at this price point the last thing you should have to worry about is where you are going to park after a long day out in the sun. Also, check out took longer than desired as I had to wait awhile for the person at the front desk to stop chatting on the phone.
