      Wonderful stay in Maine

Property was exactly as advertised. It was a flashback to my great grandmother’s country home; back when things were a lot simpler. It was nice to unwind and relax in the living room reading books and talking with family. Upstairs was a challenge with height, however really only used that for sleeping so it wasn’t a major inconvenience. All in all a great stay at a great spot on the water in Maine.

Ok place for a short stay

It’s an ok place. The kayaks/canoes are great and so is being right on the water! The location (besides being on a lake) is just ok, it’s a fairly good drive into Bar Harbor/Acadia. We mostly didn’t like the beds, they are small/uncomfortable and we had trouble sleeping. Don’t forget to bring big spray!
