      Lovely, comfortable home

The Fort Point Cove Cottage was very comfortable and located centrally to all the places we wanted to visit while in Maine. It was stocked well with all the dishes, pots, pans and pretty much everything we needed to have a wonderful two week stay. The beds were incredibly comfortable. Darlene was very good at staying in touch and contacting me quickly when I had a question. I would definitely stay there again. Thank You Darlene for the wonderful break from the Arizona heat. It was hard to leave!!!

          Relaxing Get Away

This property was the perfect place for our family to relax and unwind . We took several day trips but always enjoyed coming back to the deck and the peaceful view.

Lovely, peaceful home on the water

Absolutely the perfect home for a authentic Maine experience. The screen porch is heaven on earth. We had a flock of turkeys that weren’t in the least bothered by our presence. So we enjoyed watching them munch on the grass everyday. Lots of birdsong. The house has everything you need to cook anything you want. This was our home base for two weeks while we explored all along the coast. Very private. Theres no houses in sight, although some close by hidden by all the trees, so very private. Some days we didn’t even leave the house. It was so relaxing we didn’t want to. They have a great tv and surround sound so we enjoyed watching movies together. THere’s no A/C, which wasn’t a problem for most of the time but we there were a few hot and humid days that made us get in the AC Van and go anywhere just to be in the AC. But it was never a problem st night because it was so cool. We kept our windows open and the fans going every night. I slept so good and woke up feeling completely refreshed everyday. Something I could never do my day if the year back home in Texas.

            5/5 Excellent

              Bright, sunny, great view

The house was quite cozy even when the weather was dreary. When the sun came out, you could really appreciate the many windows and natural light. It was close enough to everything we needed/wanted but still seemed private. The fact that pets are allowed sealed the deal.
