The rooftop hot tubs were amazing. The room was clean...but the outdoor entry really surprised us for such an expensive place. It’s cold in Banff and you have to leave the hotel and walk outside to your room, which can be quite far from the elevators and hot tubs. It was snowing. So the walkways were wet and snowy. When you came into your room, you walk right into the living area (of the suite). So our super wet and dirty feet just tracked water, snow and dirt all over the kitchen and dining area. There was a small mat but it didn’t help. You have to bring slippers otherwise your feet get wet just walking around. If you go to the hot tub, plan to freeze your butt off trekking back to your room in the 5 degree weather. Also, for a 2 bedroom suite that sleeps 6...there was one small couch in the living area. Odd. It was too small with very little sitting space for 6 people to be comfortable. So, other than the location and the hot tubs...I wouldn’t stay here again. For the money we spent there are far superior accommodations in and around Banff.
