    Great Experience!

We visited after staying at a "resort hotel" so our initial response was that this property was quite a few steps down from our previous night's stay. While technically true, we discovered that we were mistaken to make such a quick judgement. While our room was not plush, it was very comfortable. It opened to a beautiful garden. We were awakened by the sounds of wildlife. The programs at the property were numerous and first rate. I am sure there are longer and faster zip lines elsewhere in Costa Rica, but not many that are in a more magnificent setting than their rock canyons. The tubing adventure was thrilling. In the open aired restaurant you had the feel of eating in the treetops. The buffet, though not gourmet, was a very good selection of Costa Rican food with make to order omelettes at breakfast and grilled meats at lunch. The staff was attentive and helpful. In the end we opted for their hikes and waterfalls over a trip into the neighboring National Park. I highly recommend this property and their accompanying activities is your Costa Rica trip brings you to the Rincon de la Vieja area.
