- Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Pros: Nice pools and indoor hot tubs Plentiful parking in back of the lodge Free shuttle from the lodge (although we didn't use it) Nice game tables for the family Subway shop within the lodge Vietnamese restaurant within the lodge Affordable for a Ski resort Cons: Funny smells abound (musty) in a way Outdated and in need of basic repairs and upkeep, carpeting, paint, etc. Room layout was downright terrible, the bedroom was located right when walking in the door and made it so we could hear every single noise from the hallways, (not cool) and kept us up all night. Bring ear plugs!! Horrible idea and we didn't know the bedroom was up front or I probably would not have booked it. Very small for what we paid and expected, the 1-bed suite was ridiculously tiny, and barely any room to get around if you have 3+ people, plan accordingly! The Vietnamese restaurant requires reservations and may be a 1 hour+ rate so again, plan accordingly! No free breakfast, ususlly a nice perk when paying a lodging premium. Be warned, NOT very handicap friendly. Not an issue for us, but someone behind us requested a wheelchair and the lodge could not accommodate. Please reconsider if accessibility is needed for you! Overall, I probably would not stay again. I'd rather pay a bit more for better accommodations. Yes it was affordable, but could use some major improvements and the room layout and paper-thin walls really killed the experience for us. Big shame. Beaver Creek was amazing though!
