"Iberostar did not disappoint. The grounds were beautiful and well maintained. Lots of wildlife which my 6 year old loved. The staff was hard working, polite, and plentiful. The activities were great! Lots of bars! Great snorkeling. Towel service. We felt
safe and enjoyed relaxing. Rooms were adequate and clean. They restocked the mini bar fridge daily. No real
cable, just CNN and a few spanish channels, but that was OK. Internet worked great. Outlets worked well. The food was decent. Lots of
options. Not the most flavorful, but overall we were relatively pleased with the food. We were pleasantly surprised and impressed with Iberostar!
The only cons are that they needed to do a better job cleaning the dead bugs out of the pool, and wish maids
came
earlier in the day (2:00!)
A few tips- bring bug spray. Lots of mosquitoes after it rains. Bring water shoes for snorkeling and beach. Bring shoes that have good traction, because the tile at the entire resort gets VERY slippery after it rains. Bring pool inflatable floats and a
clothesline to dry all of your wet clothes on the balcony. Prepare for
it to be hot and steamy! Don’t forget reef safe sunscreen- ie Sunbum. Gift shop
is VERy expensive!
Go to concierge upon arrival to sign up for steak house or spanish restaurant as soon as you arrive because reservations go quickly. Karaoke was fun! Free scuba lessons too. Sailboat rentals.
Gracias Iberostar! We will return!"
