Unique, peaceful place to visit!

Four of us recently stayed at Pauls place. The pics on the VRBO site are all right on. This house is one of two on the whole little street. It is right on the "towpath" which you can walk right on to from your front porch. There may be other places in peninsula to stay, but this is the best opportunity for location, location, location. My brother and I grew up in Ohio, so know a fair amount about the area. Never really knew about the "lock system" which includes about 154 locks along the river. Lock 28 & 29 are an easy walk to observe. Best sweet corn ever 5 minute ride to Szalays farm. The entire area is peaceful and fulfilling for the soul(i feel). So many places to roadside picnic, beautiful parks and trails/ledges to wander. Town of Peninsula is less than one thousand people. Paul has done a great job posting the opportunities this area holds and they are all on target. The central air was priceless for the temps we had, buy the end of the week we sat outside around the fire pit one evening. Nice bluetooth speakers for tunes on the porch. Was pleasantly surprised by a second bathroom which was great as my brother is disabled and the claw tub would have been a challenge. I'm sure some people might find something to complain about, but it won't be me. I went with other reviews and we all could not have been more pleased. Great job renovating this house Paul. We will be back!
