"Ok let me start off by saying I'm not picky or uptight about hotels. I was in the military and I'm used to staying in some questionable enviroments. I never write a review but i wish i would have read reviews so that i could make a better decision.The staff here are really nice and very attentive. Check in and check out was rather easy. The hotel was in under some type of renovation and doesn't have amenities. I don't ever complain and expected some grunge considering it is a beach hotel but it could have been cleaner. Housekeeping didn't come around after the first day so we had to keep bugging the front desk for Towels. The hotel is also very wet. Our bathroom floor was wet all 5 days. Im talking soaking wet and not damp. Left my suitcase open and my clothes became damp.We complained they said the AC had to be at a certain temp to resolve. So the room was really cold. Only then the floor went from soaking to damp.The balcony door was broken. There was no microwave. The staff made some great recommendations of things to do in the area. We tried to stay out the room. If they actually came around and cleaned the rooms and with some upgrades on ventilation and amenties this could be a great hotel. The location is perfect and the staff was amazing. Overall the stay was ok. I wish i could have been comfortable in the room and i probably would have extended my stay. Lets just say i was ready to go."…"
