"The location is nice, next to the lake and off Broadway. Broadway still has quite a ways to go before it becomes a true destination of it's own, but the city has made a nice effort to designate the area. Just need more appropriate business to attract visits to the area.
The hotel staff was very nice and helpful. That's where it ends. We booked a "room with view", but our view was of a dumpster and a bridge. I was expecting something with a more direct lakeview.
The room itself was not so equal. The room was sparse. There is no lounge chair, so one is left to sit on the bed (there is one desk chair.) There is hardly an place to unpack. The dresser is a tv stand and fridge combo, with a few drawers. The desk is small. With 4 large bags, we had to call for an extra luggage stand to accommodate our luggage.
The shower floor in our particular room had red spots all over it, it seemed permanent, like paint. The light switches were grimey. The peep hole doesn't work. There was no in-room recycle bin. The wifi was extremely weak and ineffective in our room."
