Best time to take a vacation to San Antonio

  • San Antonio is the second most populous city in all of Texas and attracts huge numbers of visitors throughout the year, drawn by its many attractions, in particular the water parks such as Morgan's Wonderland and Splash-Town. Climate-wise, apart from December and January when temperatures are low, the rest of the year is mild with summers averaging around 90 degrees. Crowds are easier in the early fall when there are some great deals to be had. April's Fiesta San Antonio is a unique ten-day celebration of the city and is very well supported locally and nationally. The Texas Folklife Festival in June is a three-day cultural extravaganza that is also hugely popular, drawing visitors from all over.
