Best time to take a vacation to Thailand

  • Best Time to Go

Although it is mainly a tropical country and as such hot and humid weather all year round, Thailand is probably best visited between November and March as temperatures are at their most comfortable. The summer sees temperatures regularly over 40 degrees Celsius which is great for the beaches but perhaps not ideal for sightseeing. July to October is monsoon season but this is the time when great deals are offered and less people are milling about. Festivals occur almost on a monthly basis with the Songkran perhaps the most popular in early April. The Pattaya festival is a wonderful occasion with fireworks, pageants, floral floats, and an abundance of quality cuisine on its famous beach.
