Hotel Iron Horse is a new, modern 3-star hotel, located in the central part of Amsterdam. All of our rooms are horse themed due to a fact, that the hotel is situated in the former building of the horse police on the well-known Overtoom street. In Hotel Iron Horse you can book four type of rooms " Single, Double, Triple or Quad. All of our rooms are light, comfortable and equipped with all 3-star facilities. Each of the room has a modern bathroom with shower, toilet and a hairdryer. All rooms have free wireless internet, heating, air-conditioning, and a flat screen TV. It is easy to access Hotel Iron Horse from the Schiphol airport. Bus 197 will take you straight from the airport to the Leidsesquare and then it is just a five minute walk towards Overtoom. If you are coming from the Central Station, it is a 10 minute ride with tram 1. And the closest stop to the hotel is Eerste Constantijn Huygenstraat. If you are coming by car, here on the street it is paid parking and it cost EUR 4 per hour, Sunday free. We always recommend our guests to use P+R parking, there you pay EUR 8 for 24 hours plus the public transport card is included in the price. All the famous museums - Rijks museum, Van Gogh museum and Stedelijk museum is just with in a five minute walk from the hotel. Besides that famous Jordaan area, Leidsesquare, Vondelpark and many other tourist activities like Heineken experience and Museum square with I Amsterdam sign is in walking distance. Hotel staff will be happy to help you with information about the city, nightlife, restaurant recommendations or any other questions you might have. Taxi service is available. You are always welcome to pass by the reception and have a delicious cup of complementary coffee or tea.
