On my way...

I've been in many Ramada hotels through years of travel. That one is on the lower side of my experience. Outdated, smelling old (we are non-smokers), weird room configuration (for example: door in oversized restroom has lock that can't be locked), not working heating (while it was high 40s low 50s outside), questionable clean sheets, too firm mattress (for me), old carpet... I can go on and on. However, the location is great - 15 min. walk to HD museum, 20 min to downtown, next to Hilton and other step up hotels.... I'm rating the hotel as recommend to a friend only because can't say NO and there is no May be option.

Great location, downtown, near casino

This hotel stay was exactly what I was looking for. I attended an event at the nearby Potawatomi Casino. I check room prices there and they were near double of the Ramada. No fee parking was included which is nice when staying at any city hotel. I checked in late and was upgraded to a suite on top of all. Room was nice for a suite, lots of space but hotel in general is older. Morning breakfast is hot buffet for 7.95 which I have no problem with and was good.

Close to where we need to be!

The ramada is perfect for what you are paying for. It's very close to everything and the room is fine. Not a 5 star hotel.

Great location, not super special

The hotel smells kinda funky but it wasn't enough to keep me from staying there again. For the price I would expect a better facility, which needs updating. The beds were super comfy and there was free parking, which was a definite plus. If you are planning on spending a lot of time in your room I would pick somewhere else, but if you are just going to be sleeping/showering it is fine.

Disgusting

The towels were dirty and there was an open/used soap in the shower upon arrival. I would never stay here again!

Worst Hotel Experience

For what you are paying to stay here, it was completely unacceptable. I do not knock hotels that are outdated, you can have a clean hotel that still has some furniture from the 70's, however, I don't think they have cleaned the rooms since the 70's. It was just dirty. We had to strip the bedding immediately because there were dried blood spots. The TV turned on, but didn't work, you were lucky if you could find a channel that you could make out what was going on. We saw TWO quarter-sized SPIDERS- one by the ceiling near the window and the second hanging from the ceiling. We had to shove toilet paper into a corner hole in wall where we thought the spiders may be coming from!!! The shower still had hair left in the drain. We were only in the hotel about 45 minutes before we had to leave. When we returned, our room was about 90 degrees. Our AC was obviously broken, there was hot heat blowing out of the fan on high. When we finally could not handle anymore, we went to the front desk and spoke to the manager (I will omit his name for his sake, however, you were incredibly rude and deserve to have your superiors know!) While we were expressing our concerns, a woman came into the hotel door, stood in line behind us and he began helping her. He literally just stopped listening/speaking to us mid-conversation and began checking this woman in. We stood there in disbelief and after he was finished helping the woman, he turned to us and asked "is there anything else I can help you with?" It was so bizarre. We have stayed at a Ramada before, many actually, and we have never experienced anything like this. I would hope that they are a company that stands behind their product/service and it is disappointing that we paid $150 for an experience this poor.
