Wonderful 1 night stay

Staff was kind, the room was clean, and the hotel was in a great location. Walking distance to the Third Ward, Milwaukee Farmers market and Water St. Overall nice place to stay. Only wish we had a better view, request a room above floor 2!

Definitely Worth Repeat Visits

I will definitely stay at this hotel again...the price was unbelievable, and it included free parking, free wifi, and both a fitness and business center. The lobby sparkled, as did the staff and I mean all of them, and the restaurant food was priced reasonable and was of good quality, including the wonderful fruit plate I ordered via room service just before they closed for the night. The bed was sooo comfortable, and while the bathroom was a bit small, it was clean with great water pressure. Great location, close to UW-Milwaukee continuing ed course and the beautiful indoor mall I think was called the Grand Gallery-both only a 5-6 block walk. You would need to drive to other restaurants though, but this hotel is only a couple blocks from the Milwaukee Public Museum.

going downhill

I have stayed here over the years. This hotel is not what it was. The parking lot had not been cleared of the recent snowfall. The room was dirty with some clothes left behind by the previous guest. The restaurant was not open. I got the impression this hotel is on its last leg. I will not stay there again.

Decent Enough

This place is fine if you're looking for an economical place to stay. The bed and shower were comfortable. Staff was nice and helpful. They got us a cab when we couldn't get our call through due to busy phone lines. Gave us a new room when we discovered our first room had an unpleasant smell. Very short cab ride to Bradley Center, Pabst Theater, and downtown bars. Older/outdated building and rooms. Parking was not a problem.

Good Value

It covers the needs for a place to sleep. Very nice staff. It's location in downtown Milwaukee is very convenient. The room could have been cleaner and it appeared to have a coffee stains on the comforter. I would recommend this place if someone was on a budget.

TIME MACHINE!

Let's be real: at this hotel there was a tube TV in the room, the elevator buttons didn't light up to let you know that your floor was selected and it really smelled like hotel. This outdated charm gave our one night stay a fun bonus.

Good price, great service

The hotel is definitely aged, but for the money, it is a good value. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are clean, the location is central. For the price, you really can't complain. There is no indoor pool which was a bummer for my son. A rollaway bed would have cost us $11.95, so we opted to share the bed with our son. I don't know if rollaways being charged is a common thing, but thought I would note it in case it is not.

Poor Hotel Experience

I stayed at this hotel for a girls night out...it was horrible as soon as we checked in! Air Conditioning was not working correct - I was told my option was to try to open window or use a fan?!?! Window was bolted closed and unable to open - fan was noisy. Staff RUDE

Decent Place to Stay

I was visiting Milwaukee with a group of old college friends and we were in town for the Brewers game which we make it an annual event for us. There were 8 of us in my group so we had 2 rooms for my group. We got to the hotel at about 2 in the afternoon even though check-in time is at 3. The front desk was backed up with people checking in and we were most likely about 5 people back in line. The line went quickly and the desk staff were friendly and helpful. They checked us in quickly and gave us our parking passes. Both of the rooms we got were on floor 7, the rooms were well made but could use better cleaning. In both rooms the air vent from which the air conditioning comes out were dirty and needed a good wipe down. In one of the rooms the ring out the water sprinkler was loose and just hanging there and didn't look up to standards or safe for that matter. The rest seemed to be fine but lacked that something extra to make it better then a 3 star hotel. In relation to things to do, downtown it is just a short cab ride to anywhere you would want to go. And if you choose to walk it isn't that far either. Our grouped walked to the third ward before going to the game and walk only took about 15-20 minuets to get to the Milwaukee Brewing Company. Overall I would stay here again if needed, but I would choose a difference hotel over this one if the price is similar.
