Used this hotel to attend an interview at the University of Washington. Excellent location, close to the University, within walking distance.

The worst hotel
The worst...... The management the worst.... The employees very unsatisfying..... The housekeeping are they there to clean or for other services..... The maintenance very poor..... The building should be shut down it smells like mold and mildew a very untasteful smell. Smells like cigarette smoke when its a smoke free property. The office reeks of cigarette smoke. When asked about it the manager gets very hostile and belligerent with the guest. I`ve seen it and tell the quest they shouldnt stay here. So I am not gonna recommend that anyone stay here because I myself am not gonna. It`s going to be the most unsatisfying stay. But if you do than good luck.

Matt on the move
Inexpensive place get some sleep
Easy access to the University and surrounds. Nice staff and the price is right. The facility has been updated, but it is clearly an older building that should get a complete to-the-studs remodel sooner than later. Check in late, get some sleep, get up early and move on.

Clean and comfortable
It has free parking space. Right inside UW campus. Right next to the university village. Only 1 exit away from downtown Seattle. Very convenient. Great value.

Good Value, Good location
I have stayed at the University Travellodge on many occasions while seeing to medical appointments in the U District. The location is great and the room is a good value.
