An Average Hotel
An average hotel. Everything was acceptable for the price except that a female receptionist wasn't friendly.

Good Value, Friendly Staff
For the price, this is a solid value. Convenient to I-5, and to my business meeting. Friendly staff. Free, limited breakfast. I had a microwave, fridge and work table in my room. Always love that. Great shower. Did not try whirlpool tub--cigarette burns on tub rim. Room showed some hard wear over time, but was clean. Hotel in sketchy, noisy area. Good for business travel.

Shopping tip:
Short drive from hotel
There is a book store within three miles--in Ravenna. Third Place Books is a great book store with a coffee bar, full-menu Greek restaurant that is fabulous, and a pub. Beautiful environment.

Loud traffic noise!
I went up to Seattle for my daughter's wedding and stayed in the Travelodge Seattle North of Downtown. The wedding was great, I walked my daughter down the aisle and enjoyed my time there. I did not enjoy my nights in the motel. This is a fairly ordinary motel. Relatively inexpensive for Seattle. Just far enough from downtown to avoid the outrageous prices there but still convenient, fairly central and easy to get to off the freeway. One quible is the lack of any shelf or storage space in the bathroom. The "expanded continental beakfast" consisted of coffee, orange juice, cereal, chocolate donettes and toast. The main problem I had with the motel is the very loud traffic noise. The motel is just off a busy thouroughfare and the sound insulation in the rooms is pitiful if existent. I would not stay there again.

Good price for Seattle
We went to Seattle for a Sounders and Mariners game and wanted to keep the hotel expense to a minimum. The hotel was standard, good enough if you do not plan on spending all of your time there. The neighborhood was a bit sketchy at night. Overall a good experience.

My stay was a pleasant one.
The staff was very pleasant and accommodating. I stayed for 4 days and I didn't have any problems whatsoever. The TV was sort of messed up, but it worked and I didn't really use it since I was out and about being a tourist. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family.

If you stay at the Travel Lodge at midtown Seattle, look for the Red Hill Burger. The burger I had was excellent and the onion rings are extremely good.

VERY PLEASANTLY SURPRISED!
I was concerned because it is not in the best neighborhood. But we felt very safe there, liked the lay out of the rooms overlooking the parking lot, it was quiet and slept well. Staff at the front desk and house keeping were really nice and helpful. Feared a run down Travelodge- but it wasn't! Everything was clean- building, rooms, bathroom, etc. HUGE bathtub with jets! And the shower had a nice nozzle and alot of power and HOT. I would go back there for sure! (OH- free WIFI, never worried about our motorcycles in the parking lot, ice, free local calls and air conditioner worked and was quiet-it was fine there!)

Dining tip:
Short walk from hotel
Next door is a Jack in the Box. Less than a half mile down was an IHOP. Quick access to freeway. Just plan alot of extra time to go anywhere in the morning and late afternoon- traffic is awful- but then- it is Seattle! Get a room further back from the busy road.
