Overpriced
The location of this hotel was great for an early departure on the Victoria Clipper, which is right next door. Unfortunately, the dining room did not open early enough for us to have breakfast before we left on the ferry in the morning. There was nothing else special about the room. The hotel lobby offers a nice view, but was extremely hot and usually too crowded. Overall, I thought the hotel was overpriced.

friendly staff, small rooms
The staff was very friendly. The rooms were impossibly small for a family but the hotel did try to accommodate us and gave us a second room for a discount. On our first day someone stole items from our room (Ipod, clothing, make-up).Our shower was broken (although they fixed it) The hotel is beautiful and located near all of the attractions. The staff is friendly and helpful but overall it was not a good experience.

HAVING GOOD TIME AT END BAD TIME ATBEGIN
When we arrived we were told that there is no room with 2 bed ,3 days before going there i called personally there and I asked to have 2 bed because we are 3 persons then at the moment we arrived they did not wanted to give us 2 bed ,and at that moment I felt that here I came to have a vacation but turn out in to hell so I began to have a discussions to the personnel and even the manager did not come to talk TO us [I think that was rude from his part] so finally after having a destroyed nerve we could have a room with 2 bed .

The Edgewater Inn
Each and every staff member we encountered went out of their way to be friendly. They were all just great. They have a great happy hour in the lounge everyday from 3-6. Food was fantastic, service great, the room was a little over priced, but the location cannot be beat! We stayed her twice both times were fantastic.

Unhelpful, snobby lady at front desk
We loved our experience at this hotel other than, ironically our initial check in by a snobby lady at the front desk who was extremely unhelpful. As far as everything else, no real complaints. Great location, friendly staff (other than her obviously), and surprisingly contemporary, clean bathrooms as well.

The absolute best hotel.
We can hardly wait to come back. The view was great as was the room and the bathroom. We'll be talking about this hotel for a long time. We already have people lined up to go there in January with us. This hotel was close to all the sites. Can't say enough about it.
