Great weekend away

Stayed at the Sheraton to attend the Gottman Institute Art and Science of Love workshop - was an amazing experience. Enjoyed the prime location of the hotel and spend a great deal of time outside of the workshop walking around the city, shopping and taking in the sights. wonderful time.

Very nice hotel, but...

The Seattle Sheraton has long been a favorite of mine, but this stay I noticed some disappointing differences. The staff was good but overworked. The phone either went unanswered or if you could actually get anyone on the phone (particularly the parking valet staff), they were not helpful and unresponsive. This is not like the past stays I've had at this hotel. Perhaps a change in management or reduction in staff is hurting the hotel's reputation for great service??

Great Hotel

I enjoyed my stay. The concierge was great in finding me a wonderful restaurant for my first night in Seattle. I had wanted to go to Elliot's but it was closed. Instead I was sent to Anthony's. The meal was outstanding as was my diner the next night at Loulay's in the hotel. My only complaint was when it inquired about the Pike Street Market tour. I asked I needed to make reservations for the tasting tour of the market that started the next morning at 10:00 am and where I needed to go for the tour and the concierge told me just to go down to the market in the morning. I went and was unable to take the tour because the place I needed to get the information for the tour was across from the hotel and it was too late to go back to be in time for the tour. I was disappointed because I had limited time and there was not another tour until the next morning. I was leaving the next morning, so o did not get to take the tasting tour.

Great location for downtown activities

We were in town for a Seahawks game and this hotel was a perfect location. Walking distance to the stadium, Pike Street Market and many other attractions. The Fountain bar was a great place to hang out but the hotel could have used another casual restaurant for breakfasts or a quick bite. Rooms were clean but nothing to rave about. Overall a good hotel if you want to be right in the middle of downtown.

Dining tip: Long walk from hotel

Lowell's in the Pike Street Market is a great place to have dinner with an incredible view of Elliot Bay. Make sure to go up to the second level for sit down eating (seafood) with an amazing view!

We will bve back!

The Seattle Sheraton is in a perfect downtown location to all the must-sees of the city. Our room was on the 28th floor, so we had a beautiful view of the city. The hotel is directly across from Niketown, Morton's Steakhouse, a movie theatre, and an arcade for the gamers. Staff was friendly and the room and lobby were very well cared for. Will stay again on our next trip!
