Incredible Stay
We totally enjoyed our stay with Seattle Marriott Waterfront. We had a great view of ship and ferry traffic and was close enough to Pike Street Market to do some heavy duty shopping. Our buffet breakfast was included in our room price. It was yummy. We will be staying with them again in a couple months based on our experience.[...]

Great location, noisy remodeling work
Mostly great, love the waterfront location. Nearby train tracks make some noise, but not too distracting. They are remodeling some portions of the hotel and we wound up with a room immediately underneath an active work area. They started hammering on the floor above us at 8:00 on a Saturday morning. I complained about it as we were leaving and the front desk clerk said, "We try to keep people off the 7th floor, but ..." and tried to let it go at that.

Staff very nice and helpful. Valet parking will set you back $42 per night, no other nearby safe parking. The buffet breakfast was great!

Great customer service
We traveled from Boston to Seattle to celebrate my son's 13th birthday. Upon arrival [...] at the front desk checked us in early and asked if she could send a piece of cake and milk to our room. My son was so surprised to have chocolate cake delivered to the room just for him. We had a list of must dos in Seattle and the location of the hotel made it easy to walk to everything. Loved watching the big tankers arriving in to the port. We had the pool to ourselves. It was not a big pool but it was cool that you could swim inside and outside even in the cloudy rain. We also had a great experience with the concierge who booked a last minute car rental and whale watch trip. Thanks [...]! We got a great rate on the car and got to see Orca Whales on our whale watch and play in the snow in Paradise at Mt. Rainer.

Ballard Lock was a big hit but you need to have a car or walk or bike. Very cool to see the locks in use and the salmon running.

Right across from Bell Street Pier
The hotel was right across from the cruise ship we were taking. We were able to walk to the pier. Very close to Pike Place Market and an easy and cheap cab ride to restaurants and the space needle. We were very pleased with everything.
