Good location for exploring Seattle
Inn at Queen Anne is in very good location for exploring central Seattle. 10 minute walk from Space Needle and all the other surrounding attractions. Hiking distance of downtown Seattle and Pike Place Market, but only short bus ride to same (hint: buses 2, 13, or 29 will get you there in short order). The Queen Anne area is edgy with many very good restaurants. Some excellent ones within a block or two. Large market only a block away. The hotel itself is quaint, but getting long-of-tooth and needs major upgrade and repairs. Built somewhere in the 30's to 50's of previous century. Not handy capped accessible - 3 1/2 stories and no elevator. Must climb stairs even to get to lobby.

Weekend in Seattle
The location is great, very close to the Space Needle and surrounding attractions. Variety of restaurants in the area as well. The room was more like a small apartment, it had a big closet and a small kitchen. The staff was very helpful. They store our luggage for us for a couple of days while we were in Vancouver. The pillows were not very comfortable, we had to ask for extras.

Sightseeing tip:
Short walk from hotel
Kerry Park has possibly the best view of Seattle's skyline, it is close to the hotel but it's up a very steep hill.

Nice place, good location
The rooms are a little on the rustic side but clean with working TV & kitchen. Bathtub is too short for anyone over 3 feet tall but the shower was decent. Close to Key Arena, Expo Hall, etc.

Great location
Hotel is older, but clean and comfortable. A little noisy from outside. It is located across the street from Seattle Center, so was perfect for my trip. Easy to get to with the light rail from Sea-Tac airport and the monorail from downtown to Seattle Center..

Okay but not remarkable
The beds and bedding could be upgraded from ordinary flat beds and standard hotel bedding to the pillow-top beds and extra fluffy pillows. We departed early in the morning and had to call the clerk out of the back where they were washing some sort of dishes

Would Have Liked to Love the Place
I wanted this location because of proximity for walking about awesome Seattle!! Fire safety questionable (no sprinklers, possible overloaded electric), slow internet, front desk area smelled of urine; frayed areas of green carpet painted green; get $15 parking permit, or expect $44 ticket from the city. Cut short our stay, went elsewhere.

affordable, great location
The hotel is a bit older and may need some updating, but it was clean and very affordable. The sounds from the hall and from outside seemed to echo into our room though, so I would suggest requesting a room not on the first floor. Location was great - within walking distance to Seattle Center and the Space Needle. We were able to walk to Pike Place Market and downtown Seattle as well, but the walk is not for everyone. You can catch a bus downtown and the bus stop is about 3 blocks from the hotel.

Money-saving tip:
Not Applicable
Take a Taxi to Pike Market. Its average is $7-10 which you cant beat with the stress of finding a parking garage and having to pay up to $20 on the waterfront.
