Romantic, mid-week getaway
It was our first trip to Seattle, but I can say, definitively, I wouldn't stay anywhere else but the Inn At the Market. Firstly, location, location, location! We literally walked everywhere except to/from the airport. Secondly, the staff were fabulous, and when my husband told them this was a special trip for us, they upgraded us to a water-vew suite (and by that I mean full-on water views from two sides of the suite). The suite was beautifully decorated, elegant and restful; there was a fridge, coffee, sink at the bar, etc. If there was any negative at all, it was that the tub could have been bigger- it was fine for one, but, ahem, a bit small for two... As for things to do, we highly recommend, Bill Spiegel's Underground Tour, wandering the Public Market, and enjoying the waterfront (ferries, the Ferris wheel, or just feeding the seagull's at Ivan's). For food, you MUST go to Serious Pie, where they have delicious and unusual salads in addition to the best pizza on the west coast. Also giving two big thumbs up to Local 360 and Petra Mediterranean Restaurant, which are both excellent. All in all, if was a perfect, romantic, rejuvenating getaway. We even had sunshine (in April)!

Excellent location!
We were very happy with 95% of the stay at the Inn. The only concern we had was the very loud heating/cooling system, this made for an extremely restless night of sleep. We ended up turning it off the second night, and although we were on the cold side at least the loud noises of the heating system turning on and off didn't keep us awake.

Great location, great hotel
You can't really get a better location for a hotel in Seattle. You literally walk about 50 feet to the famous public market. The room was great, bed was extremely comfortable, room and bathroom were very spacious, and the view was outstanding. My only complaint was that we were located on the same floor and the viewing deck. Since the rooms don't have oneway glass, everyone could see into all the rooms facing the sound. I filled out a survey when we left about this issue and they said they would look into fixing it. Only other complaint was the shower curtain hooks were useless. They didn't slide on the shower rail so I couldn't close it. This was very minor but still annoying. And I felt bad for the cleaning staff as there was water all over the bathroom floor. In summary, fantastic hotel. Would highly recommend it to anyone who is willing to pay a little extra for a great location in the heart of Seattle.

friendly, convenient and stylish
Such a perfect hotel, half a block from Pikes Place Market. The lobby blended modern design with local native American art. So many eating spots, so little time. Loved the patio on the 5th floor, overlooked the bay, it doesn't really matter if your room faces the water.

Inn at the Market Seattle Hotel
We were able to experience Pike's Market, St. James the Apostle Cathedral, and many wonderful restaurants on foot from this ideal location. The quick link train brought us from the airport for a nominal fee and delivered us only two blocks from the hotel. Taxis were readily available from this location. The hotel staff were friendly and knowledgeable. We could view the harbor and our cruise ship from the patio deck, an ideal spot to enjoy fabulous Seattle coffee. The rooms were spacious, immaculately maintained, and the bed and pillows extremely comfortable. The public restrooms were generously appointed with fine soaps and lotions. I loved this Hotel and plan to make it my regular stay anytime I travel to Seattle. It was perfect in every way, shape and form.

Bacco's is attached to the Hotel complex and has two entrances. One from the lower hotel entrance area and one on First Street. Their breakfast food is absolutely delicious.
