Great for what I needed
This was the first I've ever taken as an "adult" and I couldn't be happier with how things went at the hotel. The location was perfect for our numerous trips to many attractions at Seattle Center. The downtown of Seattle was a bit farther, but still within walking distance and could be quickly accessed via the nearby monorail if walking is undesirable. The hotel had very friendly staff and a decent breakfast, but its fitness facility was poor #a new one is supposedly opening later this month, May 2013# and the hotel did not have a pool or hot tub if that's a big deal for you. I have yet to have the opportunity to stay at expensive, high-class hotels so I can't compare to those, but the Hampton was just as good as any mid-range hotel I've been to.

Birthday Suprise Trip
This trip was a suprise for my 50th birthday. The hotel was in a great location and it was extremely nice with a morining breakfast that had plenty to choose from .The hotel staff was very friendly and accomodating. The only complaint about the hotel I would say is the parking spaces are very tight, so rent a small car. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Seattle.

Weekend in Seattle
The hotel experience was wonderful. Only draw back was the renovations caused the parking garages to be full of carpet and other items. I was very happy with the friendliness of the staff. Breakfast was wonderful.

Perfect location
This was probably the best hotel experience I've experienced. Staff was very personal and shared experiences about Seattle. We traveled on public transportation and every place we needed to go had a bus either across the street or within a few blocks. There is a ton of stuff to do in this area and it's quiet. The suite rooms with kitchens are under construction but we were able to get a refrigerator and a microwave put into our room, no charge. We were also allowed to leave our bags after check out since our flight did not leave until 10pm. Hot breakfast was provided which was a super duper big plus, only one complaint. (if staff reads this, please separate grapefruit from rest of fruit, everything tastes like grapefruit -.-). Beds were big and soft but comforter felt like a 20lb blanket, but it was warm

Really comfortable for our "extended" family!
My husband and I stayed in the two bedroom/two bathroom suite with our 2 year old daughter and my Dad. It was perfect! Everyone had their own space and we all felt very comfortable staying together. The cost was comparable to booking two full rooms which would have been our only other option. We walked to the Space Needle and associated areas every day and found it to be incredibly pleasant. There is a full grocery store on the next block which made stocking the kitchen a breeze! Highly recommend!

Shouldn't have stayed here
Our stay at Hampton Inn started off bad to begin with. For some reason, they couldn't seem to find us in the system. We finally figured out the issue and the friendly staff sent us on our way. We happened to book our visit while the hotel was renovating their lobby. So we had to go through a maze of starting at the first floor, then taking the elevator to the third floor, then walking through the halls to another elevator to the fourth floor and then we finally got to our room. On top of that, the room smelled horrible. I'm so glad we were only staying there one night and then meeting up with family at another hotel.
