Great Location

The hotel was in a great location, a short walking distance to main attractions, and restaurants are close by. However, the rooms needs improvement it was a bit old, but it was ok if staying just for a couple of nights.

Great location, friendly staff, cold shower

The hotel was okay. I was initially offered a room that smelled moldy, but they kindly offered me another when I complained. In the morning, the shower was a cold trickle. The handle wouldn't go far enough left to get warmer water, and there was really only a trickle of water anyway. I let the front desk know, and they said they would send someone immediately to have a look. Unfortunately, I had another chilly and trickling shower the next morning as well. That said, the staff (esp the bell men) were friendly and helpful with info and suggestions about attractions, restaurants, and getting back to airport. And the location can't be beat, right downtown, walking distance to everything.

Only a few issues

The elevators were under construction while I was staying there, so only the old one was in service, it took forever sometimes, and you couldn't tell which way it was going or if you had pressed the right button. My mom who stayed with me said it smelled like mildew in the room, but I'm not sure that's exactly what it was, smelled like any other hotel room to me. Other than that, great, friendly staff, great location, and overall a good hotel.

Almost perfect!

Great location, my girlfriend and I were able to walk to most of the major attractions. Staff was super friendly and great. The rooms were clean and kept well. The only thing that wasn't so great was the air conditioning, it wouldn't cool the room so we had to leave a window open the whole time. Other than that, everything was great!

Quick little walk towards the piers is a small tucked away pub called Zig Zags. Amazing food and drinks, worth the wait.

worst hotel

This is the WORST hotel stay I have ever had......the elevator was under construction so only one working elevator which meant we stood around a lot waiting for it to come.....the room is small and stifling hot......getting ready for a wedding was miserable......the only positive thing about this hotel was Stanley the concierge.....he was so nice and helpful.....you could not pay me enough to stay here again.

What to expect

This hotel is in the heart of Seattle. For the price and location it is a bargain. But you get what you pay for. The rooms are tiny, no room to move, and we had some trouble with internet. But the staff is super nice and friendly. Also be ready to pay $30/day for parking if you have a car.

Wonderful Stay

The rooms are very nice, and have a unique style that sets them apart from your average big chain hotel. The staff was very friendly, the wine tasting a nice surprise and the location excellent. The only thing missing was a pool and/or hot tub.

A great time!

The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The bellman was the friendliest man I have met, and was so informative to all that he greeted. He went out of his way to make you feel welcome. The room was very clean and the bed was just right. The hotel is located just up from the water, near the freeway, and near shopping and great restaurants.

Average Hotel

The hotel was clean band the staff was very friendly. The bed was comfortable and clean, but the rooms were very small. The bathroom was remodeled but super small. The air conditioner did not work so the room got stuffy, even with the window open. If you don't want to spend a lot of money and are not spending much time in your room, its a good place to stay.
