Worth staying
Hotel is across the street from the main public library. It was a remodel of an older building which will always have its issues, however I would stay again. The boiler had been turned off so my room was a bit cold and the room service didn't come one day. Otherwise they were very anxious to please. Breakfast around the corner at the YWCA is a terrific bargain.

What a disappointment
The photos of this hotel do not do a good job of portraying what you get. The rooms were disgusting. After we checked in I wanted to cancel our reservation and move hotels. The room had a funky smell and wasn't well maintained. The furniture was old and clearly had taken quite a beating. The paint needed to be refreshed... The towels felt like I was drying myself with sand paper. I could go on and on about all the negatives of this hotel.

Everything is too small
It's unbelievable that there exist a hotel without breakfast. And it's not the worst part. It took 30 minutes to actually get to the garage after I had already arrived at the hotel. I may blame the incredibly weird traffic situation in Seattle, but it's still the reason why I took off 2 points in Location despite that this hotel is located in the very center of Seattle and in walking distance to the shore. It's still not the worst part. The worst part is, everything in the room is way too small. I couldn't find a table to put my coffee; I couldn't even find a place to put my toothpaste when I brushed my teeth in the bathroom. The drain blocked. And in no way can one charge the phone because it keeps dropping off the socket. Only comfort is the hospitality of the staff.

Dislike the elevator is located at one level up or a level down. But the price is good at seattle.

business trip
The staff was very nice and attentive. It is a little walk from the cconvention center, but close enough. Rooms are small. There is NO counter space in the bathrooms and the heat did not work well. Rooms are small, but nice enough.

Not too bad
Nothing special to the hotel just a place to sleep. The location was pretty good. We walked everywhere from the hotel. Small bathrooms but clean and updated. Didn't hate it but probably wouldn't stay again

Perfect
For my expectations it works very well. I stay mostly for one night. It is a peaceful downtown Seattle location with easy access to anywhere, no fuss. It is a shame that the Coffee Shop is not there anymore.
