Amazing weekend getaway!

My fiancé and I the past weekend at the Killington Grand and couldn't have had a better time. The amenities at this resort were awesome! We decided to move our ski day from Saturday to Sunday after we arrived and realized we wanted to spend the whole day in the pool. What a great idea that was, as we practically had to the pool to ourselves all day until everyone else was done skiing for the day. We also took advantage of the free shuttle to go for dinner on Saturday night. The free breakfast buffet was just the "cherry on top" of our weekend! Can't wait to visit again!

Overall a great stay

We booked this hotel last minute and were very happy. For Killington, you can't get any closer to the lifts. Just a short walk across a ski bridge to the Snowshed slopes. The restaurant was excellent as was the included breakfast buffet . The only complaints were that they need two more hot tubs by the pool. Only had two so not nearly enough space considering the size of the property. Also, same issue at the ski check - just need more space, cubby holes to store gear, etc.I would highly recommend this hotel.

Worth coming back for.

The Grand Resort Hotel is a very nice and homey place. It feels like home but it's a hotel. If you are trying to save money on food. The place has stove, over, microwave for cooking. And the place is situated nicely with a killer view of the mountain ranges... A must stay hotel.

Great place!

My fiancée and I LOVED this place! The only issue we had were our next door neighbors. They were yelling and very loud. When we talked to the staff they helped, but we're not as helpful as I would have hoped. Other than that the included breakfast, the heated pool and hot tubs, the proximity to the lifts and the restaurant in the hotel were all amazing.

If you are new to skiing, take a private lesson with Jim LaRoche. He has been teaching for years. It is well worth the money because he will give you tips that will last your entire life.

Wonderful getaway with all the amenities

We had a wonderful stay at the Grand and walking right to Showshed lift was perfect. The studio room with kitchenette and murphy bed was great for the price. This hotel was as nice as any I have been in out west. I would definitely recommend it.

Great place for vacation

Great location and the big pool, hot tub, sauna and steam room were great. You can walk to the slopes which was perfect.Only downside is the ceilings are paper thin and it sounded like a rodeo was going on above us. probably better for families less so for a romantic getaway

ski trip

wonderful amenities; perfect location to enjoy Killington's skiing for both the novice and advanced skier. hotel front staff seem stressed out or bored; not friendly; marginally helpful; not cheerful at check in or check out. the spa, pools, and exercise facility are great. included breakfast is superb. hotel room size, view, cleanliness, fabulous! would definitely stay again. staff in the rest of the hotel are good.

Staff were all very friendly.

Staff were all very friendly. Free use of internet and printer. We were given wrong room when we first checked in, however this was soon rectified and we were given a lovely room over looking the ski slopes with a balcony. Rooms clean and spacious, perhaps slightly dated. Good selection at breakfast. Hot food, although in covered containers over heater, was not very warm. Very convenient for slopes, just a short walk over a bridge.
