Time-saving tip: Short drive from hotel

We found that Bypass 66 Rd to Richmond Rd. road was a very short, and direct route to any shopping or dinning you may need. The visitor center which is located on Bypass Rd. also has some very helpful maps of Colonial Williamsburg.

Best Bang For your Buck

The location is so convenient, minutes away from some of the best restaurants, so close to all the attractions, like Water Country USA, Busch Gardens and Colonial Williamsburg. You get what you pay for, a very basic room that is clean, no lush amenities here but its just fine if you not planning to spend your vacation hanging out in your room.

Surprising for Price

This was our second time staying at this motel. It was as clean and comfortable as it was before for the price. I would recommend it.

A Hidden Gem

Finding the hotel was a bit difficult the very first time if traveling the first time along the Williamsburg Parkway -- but once found it was convenient to all activities. For those w/kids - McDonald's was a short distance by foot. The hotel was pet friendly and extremely clean which was important to me since our trip was to pick-up a small dog. Due to the discount rate I received - I did not realize that it also provided a brief breakfast of sorts in the lobby (which we did enjoy on our last day before moving on). To bad it was the end of November because we would have loved to have used the outdoor pool right outside our room.

Time-saving tip: Not Applicable

Pick-up a Williamsburg Area Shoppers Guide or Entertainment Guide. They are offered just about everywhere in/or around the Williamsburg area. The smaller guides have great maps of the area in and around the Williamsburg Parkway.

Just another Hotel

It took over 30 minutes to find the hotel with the directions provided and that was after we contacted the hotel itself. The hotel was a little creepy because of the location and noice. Hotel was tiny would not recommend for more then 2 people or more then 1 night.

Amusement Parks Trip

Stayed at hotel because the location is close to Water Country and Busch Gardens (only about 5 minutes to each). They had a descent pool and the staff was friendly. The comforter and bathroom were dirty. Didn't spend too much time in the hotel. Perfect for a cheap room close to the parks to just sleep in.

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

There is a McDonald's across the street and a Hardee's down the road if you get hungry late night.
