Uncomplicated, clean, location

This is the second time I have stayed here. It is convenient to all the areas in Williamsburg. It was clean, the towels were thick and beds comfortable. If you want to save money and know that you are getting a wonderful value, it is worth it to stay here. I didn't want anyone to feel mislead with a 5 star rating but you get great value whose savings you can spend on the wonderful restaurants in Williamsburg.

Sightseeing tip: Short walk from hotel

It is a short walk to Colonial Williamsburg from this location. If you have obtained your CW pass, you can then pick up the shuttle to other parts without bothering about parking!

Quick trip to return child to college

We were making a quick trip to return our child to college and wouldn't be spending much time in the hotel. For the price, we got what we were looking for; a clean room, good working shower, had a microwave and fridge, which is always nice. The staff we came across wasn't the most personable, which I always look for, as this is the first impression of a facility.

Terrible beds

I paid for a 2 star and I got every bit my money's worth. The room had the 2 most uncomfortable mattresses I have eve attempted to sleep on. Complementary breakfast was very basic (Corn Flakes, Rasin Bran, toaster waffles, cinnamon buns). Had no Orange Juice, offered something along the lines of fruit punch or red kool-aid.

Time-saving tip: Short drive from hotel

We found that Bypass 66 Rd to Richmond Rd. road was a very short, and direct route to any shopping or dinning you may need. The visitor center which is located on Bypass Rd. also has some very helpful maps of Colonial Williamsburg.

BED BUGS!!!!!

This was by far the worst experience I have ever had. We checked in to this hotel around 2 pm only to drop our luggage off then returned at about 11 pm and went straight to bed only to wake up at 2 am to find both double beds in the room infested by bed bugs. We proceeded to the front desk to inform the clerk o f the problem only to encounter the most rude and arrogant employee I could imagine. Upon informing the man at the desk of the infestation his only solution was to move us 4 rooms away from our original room. However , not only did this hotel employee seem to be unwilling to compensate us for this inconvenience but he had the audacity to suggest that we were responsible for causing the outbreak of bedbugs only because he was unwilling to accept the fact that the hotel room had obviously not been cleaned between guests.... keeping in mind we had only checked in to the hotel hours earlier and the infestation was clearly an ongoing problem. On a side note, I would love to include the name of this incredibly rude employee but he only (begrudgingly) was willing to give me the mumbled name of "patel" and flat out refused to give me his full name, even when I asked him over and over. Similarly the second room we were given (which we only used to shower and stand around in while our we washed our cloths) had multiple dirt spots on the carpets, not to mention dried and crushed blueberries on the floor which had obviously been there for some time. Save yourself the stress.... stay far far away from this hotel.

Best Bang For your Buck

The location is so convenient, minutes away from some of the best restaurants, so close to all the attractions, like Water Country USA, Busch Gardens and Colonial Williamsburg. You get what you pay for, a very basic room that is clean, no lush amenities here but its just fine if you not planning to spend your vacation hanging out in your room.
