Contemporary Virginia Beach hotel with fine dining and pools
The Wyndham Virginia Beach Oceanfront provides a peaceful, serene setting. The hotel is close to major Virginia Beach attractions, such as the boardwalk and Virginia Beach Convention Center. There are 244 rooms. The property appeals to vacationing families, couples and corporate clients. Amenities include indoor and outdoor pools, plus a restaurant.

Nice getaway for a family

Our stay was very nice. We stayed in 2 bedroom suit with a kitchenette, place was clean and very comfortable. A reason to reserve a suit with a kitchenette was to have a family meal in the room, however, there were no plates, glasses or cups,forks and spoons. In other Wyndham (Las vegas) all what we needed was in the kitchenette ready to use.

Affordable beachfront

Check in was easy and problem free. Staff upgraded me to a partial view of the ocean. Staff was courteous and accommodating. Room was not immaculate, there was Chinese food on the floor from prior occupants. There was also dust on the floor where things should have been moved and vaccuumed. Was an overall good value for the money.

Family

Room was not what we were told it would be cleaning service clean our room once in 4 nights asked for cleaning 3 times overall not happy at all

Not great

Utilities present but not accessible. pool closed, no complimentary breakfast, when asked for beach ball declined saying only provided during summer.

Nice, but tricky

I booked a room on the club floor and they tried to give me a room on the second floor. I called about it and they gave me a room on the 8th floor. Far from the 16th club floor. Not even the 15th. I was disappointed.

Great weekend getaway

we ended up at this hotel because every other hotel on the strip was booked. We were pleasantly surprised by how much we liked it. It's quiet, comfortable and away from the craziness of the strip. I would definitely go back.

Great Hotel, far from the boardwalk

It was nice if you want a place far from the boardwalk. I was hoping it would be a bit closer

Would not stay at this hotel again, or reccomend!!

I had to switch rooms 3 times before I got a room that did not smell of animal urine. The rooms were disgustingly dirty. Mold and Mildew covered the bathroom surfaces and the wallpaper in the main living area was coming off the wall. Even though booking a trip through Orbitz states all tax and fees are included the hotel still charged "extra" fees upon check out. I even upgraded to a nicer hotel room with an ocean front view, I had a LOT higher expectations!!!
