Turtle Cay resort

Great location and great room. Hotel had everything and more I would need. Can't wait to bring kids back for a vacation and not business trip.

Beautiful, big rooms. Great location. Good restaurants within walking distance.

We were in town to watch high school softball and have a relaxing break out by the ocean. The location of the hotel was convenient to restaurants on foot or short drive away from the beach area. Our suite had a very spacious bath and a large kitchen area, breakfast bar, living room with fireplace and a nice porch viewing the lovely courtyard although it was too cold to sit out. The pool looks great as well as the large hot tub so for a summertime break, this hotel would do very nicely!!

The hotel was clean and neat, nice courtyard setting. Like others stated, the sheets on pull out bed not fitted, woke up first night, tangled, decided to sleep without pulling out bed next night, much better. However a little distracted by music that played continously from main office, would of liked that to stop at least by 2200. Also extremely offended by local sovenier shops that displayed obscene and vulgar t-shirts and items with explicit inuindo's completely inappropriate for any well adjusted mature adult let alone children. Beach was beautiful as always. Unless something is done about sovenier shop's would not like to return with my family, there are other beaches!!!!!!!!!

The concierge was very knowledgeable and helpful - also, the front staff desk was helpful, as well, to answer our questions. However, the cleaning staff had a bit to be desired - there wasn't any consistency with their service. I shouldn't have to ask for clean towels and coffee, plus, sometimes, they washed the dishes, and other times not. Another negative was that I was assigned an attached room - the folks next door had a very small child that woke up extremely early, and there isn't any sound-proofing on the door between the rooms. The reservation should have been planned better. On a positive note, the beach is extremely clean, the ocean temperature was perfect, and the waves were strong enough to be fun, but not scary. The food at all of the restaurants, where we dined, was excellent, and service was above par.

Very nice place. Only two bad things is no free internet and they need to get fitted sheets for their beds. Other than that very nice stay.

Not at all what we expected having stayed here before. The room we were assigned was likely one of the two or three least desireable in this facility, primarily because of its proximity to the elevator. The luggage dollies sound like a freight train passing over the decking. I was later advised that there was construction in progress on the floor we were on and that was the likely cause of the high level of luggage dolly traffic as the workers moved their "stuff" around. What on earth prompts a resort that values their customer's return business to put those customers in the proximity of a construction project? In the off-season when there is more empty space in the facility than occupied space? You only get one shot at me. I survived and I will not be back.[...].We will never book another room at this facility without making absolutely certain that we are getting what we think we were getting by calling the hotel in advance of making a reservation.

Everything from the moment we checked in until we left. Staff caring friendly couldn't do enough to make our stay super. Room clean well kept just a wonderful time. Looking forward to going back.

We had a BLAST! We were able to ride bikes on the beachfront, have lunch at a yummy local restaurant and then go back and play at the pool and hot tub! Without a doubt we would go back! Staff was very professional, helpful and friendly. Grounds were very well kept and all of our expectations were met. Full size coffee pot, mini fridge and microwave were all very nice...we even were given beach/pool towels to use while on the resort property! Comfy beds, nice linen and plenty of space to relax in our room, even with 5 of us in there at once!

I relaxed and enjoyed beautiful view from my balcony. My stay was fantastic!! I only stay at Turtle Cay when I am in Virginia Beach.
