First no room service then norestaurant on premise got refunded and moved to Holiday inn mind you 123.00 per night and leaving 50.00 dollars per night for same problem. but did not want to move again. When staying over the holidays this is crucial only thing open was mc donalds of course they do not deliver and was not what i had in mind for Xmas eve and day.

Great off-off season visit
For a vacation well off of the summer season the service was as good (if not better) than what I've experienced during the peak season. Best of stay: 1) We could watch the sunrise from the balcony of the room and got to see the dolphins playing in the surf. 2) Extremely close to everything you'd want to do in the area - Virginia Aquarium, fishing pier, Cape Henry Lighthouse Negatives: 1) We saw a roach in the room when we first checked in but it was quickly dealt with and we had no further issues. 2) The city was erecting the boardwalk Christmas decorations and we had a 40 foot tall "Ladies Dancing" light display outside the room... NOTE: This isn't a criticism against the hotel in any way, just a heads up to other mid-late November travelers to maybe ask for a room on the 4th floor or higher... Overall? Great experience... If I'm ever in Virginia Beach again the Oceanfront Inn would be a first choice for where to stay...

Great place with ocean view
What a fantastic way to wake up in the morning, with the ocean breeze, sounds of the waves, and the rising sun over the ocean. This was the view from the room I had. The room was clean, staff was friendly, price was right!! I don't know what the prices are during the season, but if you are looking for a place to stay in the off season right on the beach this is perfect!!

You get what you pay for
For the price I should not complain, but the room looked clean from afar, but there were toe nail clippings in the rug and the rug seemed it has never been steamed cleaned. The staff was friendly. The kids enjoyed the indoor pool. The view is amazing.
