Resort hotel with sweeping ocean views in Virginia Beach
The Sheraton Virginia Beach Oceanfront Hotel is just off the Virginia Beach boardwalk, on the exclusive north end. The focus of the hotel is clearly on the wellness and comfort of its guests, featuring indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a whirlpool and hot tub as well as a fitness facility. The on-site restaurant, Aqua Vi, offers not only mouthwatering cuisine, but also spectacular views across the bay. The more casual bar and grill, Sea Sprays on the Boardwalk, is a great place for a snack and to enjoy the view.

Spring Break 2012
Great location. Beds were very comfortable. Room was clean and had a great view of the ocean.

Service is below average ...
The overall service of this hotel is below average. When you booked a FULL ocean view room, they told you the only available room is a partial view. The best thing they could do was to tell you they are sorry. In addition, the hotel location is good, but it is under construction now. The breakfast buffet is below average and pricey, and, the service is slow. They only open a small section for breakfast. It appears there are many other good and new hotels nearby.

Give it a chance
excellent hotel if you give it a chance sure construction is going on but still great stay and very nicely appointed rooms would stay again

The hotel description did say it was under construction but it didnt say that neither the indoor pool or hot tub would be available. also, I requested and ocean front room with 2 queen beds and received a partial view with 1 king bed. I really do not like being given the option and then not getting what I selected. The room was booked for an exceptional employee who we were treating because of her hard work and I promised her an ocean front room. She even asked the reception desk about the issue and apparently they were unable to help her.

always grab a restaurant guide when you stay in va beach. there are a ton of great places to dine always within walking distance that you cannot find from the street easily.

Very nice hotel-under renovation
Great location! The room was beautiful, the bed was extremely comfortable. The staff was very friendly! The only downside was that the "newly renovated indoor/outdoor pool" is not yet completed, and we had to walk two blocks to swim. We did hear some noise in the morning due to construction, but they did not work during the evening. I would highly recommend staying here, especially after all of the renovations are complete.

2 day getaway
overall good except I was charged by orbitz and again by hotel! Changed rooms as i thought i booked ocean front when in fact it was oceanview. Hoping to get some money back from someone.

wonderful home away from home
Top notch service..since the beginning. At early.check-in...got the best available room.with a great oceanfront view. Pools and tiki bar was clean..friendly helpful staff...drinks weren't watered down... food was delicious..the restaurant had a great food..seafood.to their breakfast buffet. Clean towels everywhere you went and just an overall wonderful experience...home away from home

Shamrock weekend
I was there for the Shamrock marathon. It was a very good stay. We were surprised that the hotel offered us bananas, juice, and water before the race. Parking was a problem though at the hotel. We couldn't leave when we wanted to because the streets were blocked off until later in the day.
