Affordable, centrally located
Was in town for an interview and to start apartment hunting. Hotel was centrally located to the airport, downtown Norfolk and all of Hampton Roads. Affordable and clean, the only other things I really would have liked was access to a computer to print boarding passes and more shampoo than what comes in the little packets (although I had brought my own expecting this). Overall good value and enjoyed my stay, staff was pleasant.

Below Average - Noisy location
The hotel is situated near the freeway. Not only do you have to deal with the freeway noise but also noisy tenants and staff. I was awaken around 6am by people having a conversation in the parking lot. I believe the housekeeping staff do not have radios to communicate so that shout from one end of the motel to another to request what they need. Either the walls are thin or people just talk loud in that area. I was able to block the noise by turning on the AC fan. Shouldn't have to do that to get some sleep.

Great Location
Where as the location was perfect and convenient to everythingin Virginia Beach the constant chatter outside your door was a bit much at night and the staff was a little worrysome.

The floors were panel wood, which I didn't mind, no continental breakfast and no hair dryer in the room, boo. Lastly the pillows were a bit on the hard as bricks side but overall it was a nice stay, great value.

Short drive from hotel
Check out greenbrier mall, about 7 miles away. Good movie theater, shopping, and Cracker Barrel is right across the street. They make awesome breakfast and dinner. Try the cheesy potato bake.

great stay on small budget
This place was very nice for the price. The only thing that was lacking with this place was their location. I would have preferred a closer spot to the oceanfront but overrall great place.

It was ok
Location was decent. The staff was friendly, but kinda unprofessional. Bed was put through a press, very uncomfortable. Ok for a one or two night stay. They were putting a new roof on the place which I wish I would have known before I checked in. Very noisy

Bed was hard the bolt on the door didnt work the ceiling looked like it was going to cave in. this one was horrible as we were leaving there was a.better looking red roof 2 miles away

the stay was greatly. howevery the stain dirty carpet and dusting safe, microwave must be cleaned immediately.

JUST WHAT WE NEEDED
This was an evening get away. The room was clean, large and had everything we needed. It was a Friday evening and very quiet. Plenty of resturants, fast food, quick mart and delivery service.
