The Magnuson Hotel Norfolk Airport is located within minutes of Norfolk International Airport, just ten miles from Virginia Beachs oceanfront and downtown Norfolks Festival Marketplace, and within minutes of Virginia Aquarium and Marine Science Center, First Landing State Park, Cape Henry Lighthouses, Amphibious Navy Base and Virginia Wesleyan College. Weekend Family Getaway

Won't recommend or choose again. It worked while we were there for those 2 days, but it is something like one of those cheap hotels that a person choose because they are too tired to continue to drive. Not recommending and probably would not visit again.

Dining tip: Short drive from hotel

There are plenty of food choices on this strip, most of them you have to U-turn or turn at the light to get to. I found it more convenient to shop on Military Hwy.

The room was o.k. The bathtub was a little nasty. The toilet splashed water out of the bowl when flushed. The front door to the room had a large gap and allowed air, light and noise in. And it only had about a 1/4 inch of the door lock bolt in the hole to lock the door. Not very secure.

Really Disappointed

Said non-smoking--room reeked of smoke from many times of smoking.

very bad hotel

this hotel was very bad. We left couple of bags out at the door and went to the office to get the card reprogrammed and some one stole one of them....also, lots of suspicious activities, like prostitution going on there....some thing looks fishy...like a MAFIA place....
