Weekend Family Getaway
Won't recommend or choose again. It worked while we were there for those 2 days, but it is something like one of those cheap hotels that a person choose because they are too tired to continue to drive. Not recommending and probably would not visit again.

There are plenty of food choices on this strip, most of them you have to U-turn or turn at the light to get to. I found it more convenient to shop on Military Hwy.

Decent place.
Good service from staff making my late arrival more pleasant than it could have been and the next morning, they went out of their way to assist me with flights for that night. The room was 3 star. I always wonder about the location when the front door is locked and they have to let you in.

Nice stay

Good location
Needed a room near the airport for an overnight stay on our way to Williamsburg, VA. This location was perfect. Minutes from the airport, restaurants and freeway. Would go back if ever in VA again.

Expected better from a 3 Star hotel
Either I've expected a bit better from a 3 star hotel or this isn't a 3 star hotel. My guess is that it hasn't been rated properly. The hotel is in great need of an upgrade from the inside to the out. The staff were kind but the hotel seems like it hasn't been and (my guess) won't be upgraded. In every area from the breakfast offerings to the bed linens, improvement is needed. The room had gouges in the wall revealing the dry wall, cigarette burn in the sink, water stains in the bathroom ceiling, pool water was green and was still running and hadn't been closed and drained for off season, and I could go on, etc. Unless the owners decide they want to raise the quality, I'm guessing they've settled on charging what they charge with no plans to improve the property. It's a 2 star motel not 3 yet my guess is that they would charge a whole lot more if they just brought it up to a real 3 star level. This was not 3 star value for the price.

ALways a nice stay
I am a full-time care giver for my mother who has dementia. I book a room here once a month just to give myself a break. Alway have a nice room, clean and quiet. Staff is always friendly and informative.

Not a good experience
It was not what I expected. First of all, it was VERY difficult to get into. The entrance was hard to find and was past the main building. There was no elevator - something I would have liked to have known ahead of time since I was traveling by myself, coming in rather late in the evening from a vacation and just staying overnight to be close to the airport. After I drug by luggage up the stairs I found that the security lock was on the door and I couldn't get in! I drug everything back downstairs, went back to the office to report the problem and told the staff person I wanted a 1st floor room. Once I got to that room, I found that this room didn't have a security lock at all - it had been broken off. By then I was too tired to go back and ask for another room so I flipped the only chair in the room - a rolling desk chair - over on it's side and put it up against the door. The breakfast provided was cereal out of a dispenser, plain bagels and waffles to be heated up in toaster, juice and coffee. It did seem to have a nice pool but I didn't have time to use it.
