Weak Sauce
Weak Hotel for the money. Myrtle on Steroids, Drunks fighting in the streets at 5 PM (stoked). Staff was friendly but you can only do so much with what you are given. The room had a smell of smoke or smoke covered up. Also room quietness was not good. We were upgraded to a suite next to the elevator (not good) and we could hear the TV in the room next to us until late. The music blasting in the lobby in the morning was like a Hindu chant or something....totally not the way I want to wake up.

Hit the Baja Cantina on 23rd. The fish burrito is awesome. This is your normal East Coast horrible mexican (Chi Chis or Tex mex). This is the real deal. California style

very enjoyable
obviously recent renovation of the rooms. nice decor. great location. staff friendly. only disappointment was that there was no bike rack. we were advised by the staff and local police should just place bikes on room balcony. became a hassle going in the elevators and cluttering the room/balcony with 4 bikes. worry it will take a quicker toll on damaging the recent renovated rooms too. the manager said he was going to request a bike rack. overall great time.

This is absolutely the best Holiday Inn I have ever stayed in.The staff was the best and the rooms were clean and roomy! The only thing wrong was they dont serve a free continental breakfast and the breakfast we had to purchase in the Hotel was EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE!

Just what I was hoping for
It's a great location, has everything you need under one roof. The staff was pleasant, the food was good, room and hotel very clean and well maintained. The kids had a good time with the choice of beach swimming or the indoor pool when it was too cold for the beach. It's right on the main route, so easy in and out, lots of shopping places, restaurants, bars. We had a really good time.

Unseasoned Traveler
Great view
I wanted to view the sunrise over the ocean and this location was perfect for that. Many shops and places to grab a bite are within walking distance. That is valuable since lack of parking was a negative. I understand that space is limited along the ocean front but parking in a lot away from the hotel was a little unsettling.

wonderful stay
Wonderful hotel stay! Ocean front access, great pool, great breakfast buffet! Could do better with parking, but that's ok!
