Hilton Garden Inn Virginia Beach Town Center

the price for this hotel is based primarily on location. a few of the staff members were really great but it's diminished when your interactions with them is for a complaint about your room...maintentance shouldn't have to be told to clean every day...

It is a good location,near mall and restaurants. The downfall is no protected parking. It rained and we had to get wet getting to our car outside in a parking lot. I strongly suggest if you want peace and quiet make sure your room is on the back side of hotel. There is absolutely no sound proof there,you hear all the traffic from the main boulevard,and you hear everything everyone is saying or doing in the room above and next to you. They built this hotel very cheaply. The beds are uncomfortable since the knobs to adjust air in mattress were broken. This place should be rebuilt with better materials.I was very disappointed.

Had a very nice stay, front desk staff is very NICE. Other staff members can stand to attend a customer service course. Location is good, a bit far from the beach but lots of local establishments are within walking distance.

My wife and I along with my sister in law were here for just 1 night. The only downside to staying in this hotel(8 miles off VA beach)..but its a short drive. Other than that, loved the location and cleanliness. Would recommend anyone for the stay.

The stay overall was a nice experience. Although if I would have known they were doing maintenance I probably would not have stayed there. They had parts of the hotel that you couldn't access because of that. I think it would be a good idea to let customers know when hotels are being renovated before they purchase the room.

Comfy beds (there is a dial on the side of the bed to make it harder/softer, which is nice). Spacious rooms, lots of hot water, good toiletries. I stayed a total of 9 nights, and the first two were fine in a room right by the elevator (room 605). The third night I kept hearing the elevator noise and it kept me up past midnight. I asked for a room change and they gave me one all the way at the end of the hall, which was nice and quiet (room 631). When I stay here again, I'll ask for a room down the hall in advance. Housekeeping seems to come by early to me (8:30-9:00), and if you have your do-not-disturb sign out, they don't come back to clean your room unless you request it. There's only like 8 hotel parking spots in their lot, but the parking garage literally across the street has tons of space, and it was no big deal to park there. Exercise room leaves something to be desired. There are two treadmills, one stationary bike, and one "natural runner" thing that is kind of like an elliptical, but not the same. The equipment seems to be old and the natural runner is really noisy. Overall, I would stay here again in a heartbeat, since I got a great deal and enjoyed the hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful.

We've stayed at this hotel twice before, and the service has always been great.

I stayed three nights while attending a family function and I had no desire to go the the beach. The Town Center location had good access to the main highway leading into Virginia Beach. There is free parking in the public parking lot across the street from the hotel. For me the location was great, there are a good variety of restaurants within just a couple of minutes walk. P.F. Changs, Ruths Criss steakhouse, and several others are right there for you. My room was clean and quiet, and on one night I ordered room service which arrived quickly. But be prepared to spend a little extra for your room. Despite that, I would stay there again.

Stayed only one day of two, no booking flexibility, no refund

Requested a non-smoking room and called to confirm that for late arrival. They gave it away. We were stuck in a smoking room that was horrible and made me sick. They only offered to ozone my room. Ozone is really bad for you and the only response that I received was that it didn't matter b/c I wouldn't be in the room when that was being done.
