Family getaway
The staff here was very nice. The rooms are comfortable. I wish there was a stove though. Can't get a better location. You are right in the middle of the boardwalk on the beach.

Friend of the Dragonfly
Nicer than expected!!
We were looking for a hotel located close to our friends who live on 19th street... we were very happy with the room (it had a seperate bedroom AND a nice little kitchen area (no stove). The view was outstanding. The folks that worked there were very friendly. Because we stayed a 3rd day, we got a nice little discount. The only negative thing was that there was only one elevator - the season had not started, so it wasn't too bad, but I imagine in the middle of summer it could really get backed up. Overall enjoyed ourselves and would stay there again.

Short drive from hotel
Take a short drive over to Rudees Inlet - 2 fabulous places to eat are Big Sam's and Rockefellers. They are right on the water and you can watch the fishing boats come and go. Both are more than reasonably priced - Rockefellers has a great brunch on Sunday.

Enjoyable time
The staff was very friendly and helpful, and went out of the way to make our stay comfortable and fun. The room looks way bigger in the pictures. The furniture is not comfortable at all, but everything seemed clean. The pool is tiny, tiny, tiny, so if you plan on swimming, this might not be the place. The pool is on the 8th floor, with a nice view, and the water was nice and warm in the winter. I'd come back again, if looking for a bargain weekend getaway.

Father and Daughter Getaway
We enjoyed the rooms at the dolphin inn very much!! the view of the ocean was great!! The suite was larger then I expected and my father and I enjoyed the lights on beach.The value for the room was amazing and I would never book with anyone other than Cheap Tickets, I have been using them for over 20 years and they have never let me down. The only problem, which was not the hotel's fault was the parents that allowed their child to run back and forth in the room above me!!

Older hotel with lots of pros...
No issues with check in/out. Front desk staff went the extra mile. Hotel is older and the room decor was dated. But that said, the A/C worked excellently, the beds were comfortable, and the house keeping staff was on top of things. We booked it for the half-marathon and it was only a few blocks off from the finish line...definite plus. Basically mid-beach so everything was an easy walk.

Good for 5-6 people
This was the most budget friendly room with a balcony that slept 6. We had 4 adults and 2 kids. It got the job done, but thats it. Not enough pillows/towels/shampoo/soap, there were holes in the blankets, filthy tub... in desperate need of an upgrade, the sofa bed looked like it came out of the 70's. The bedroom with two double beds and a door was nice, having two tvs was nice, the balcony was AMAZING (even though it was dirty, the chairs were dirty...) Awesome view and awesome access to the beach. We had no problems, but the hotel absolutely does not go out of their way to make it an amazing stay.

Perfect for one Night!
The room was huge and the view was great. Only three of us so plenty big for us. We stayed on the top floor over memorial day weekend. No problem with noice. The room was clean but the furniture was getting wore our from use. Could use some updating. We were there only one night and it worked fine for us, we didnt spend much time in there. I would stay there again for the price, probably not more than 2 or 3 nights max.

Beach week with my ladies
It was cool! The location was amazing and the room was a nice size for the amount of people i was with. The only problem was the tub was a little dirty when we got there and there weren't enough towels and wash cloths for everyone! But other than that everything was great!

Nice getaway for Beach week :)
Me and my friends really enjoyed our time at The Dolphin Inn! There were a few things that could have made it better!! The tub was a lil dirty and there werent enough towels and washcloths for all the girls. We enjoyed the view from the hotel and the room was nice! We would recommend coming here again!! Maybe soon :)

Quick overnite trip!
The hotel is average. It could be cleaner. There were spots on the sheets and comforter. Our refrigerator didn't work well and although maintenance came quickly, it never worked properly. The window seals had dead bugs in them and the balcony had cigarette buds on it even though it was a non smoking room. The pool and surrounding area also needs some work. Other than those things, which mainly have to do with cleaniness, this hotel is okay. It does offer a remarkable view of the ocean and the jacuzzi tub in the room is nice.
