The place to meet in Virginia Beach
The Crowne Plaza Virginia Town Center offers an excellent location in the heart of the Virginia Beach business center, close to business and tourist attractions. Good location
In walking distance (10-15 min) to downtown; my room (315) had some talkative neighbors but at least they didn't chat too long (the walls are ok but not very insulating). Otherwise room 315 is very nice.

Google Maps had conflicting images when I was there (Nov 2012): one resolution had a bridge to downtown, another resolution didn't. They were clearly taken at different times. You can also use the short walking pathway along the creek which you can see in Google Maps. You have to walk through the area of a "private" apartment complex though.

My regular hotel when travelling for business in VA Beach
As always, this hotel, with its unbelievably reasonable pricing offers a 5 Star Hotel without the overpricing. For the many times I have stayed here the quality of the restaurant and the bar area have remained superb. There is an excellent fitness center as well as an indoor pool and sauna. Simply put, in the past 6 years of travelling to VA Beach I have yet to find a hotel with such great amenities and great staff for the pricing that still amazes me. I've been getting great rates there in the pweak of tourist season as well as the off season. If you're looking for a place for the family or for business then stay here. You won't regret it.

Reunion with friends: Virginia Beach VA
Great location: Lived in the Virginia Beach/Norfolk/Portsmouth area 30 yrs til 2010, is easily accessible to I-264 for my travel to the west/ east. Check-In hotel staff very friendly,other staff lukewarm other days (even one of the day managers on 2 different occasions.) Lovely lobby. $10.95 breakfast buffet ok. Dining room staff nice, friendly. Guest cards with percentage off dinner at 2 restaurants-a wider variety would be nice since it is at Town Center. Bathroom: tight! Open door bangs into one's knees, it is 2 inches from toilet. Once seated on commode, you have to stand up to either open the door all the way or close it if it is open all the way next to the shower/tub. Almost fell over reaching for the tp located under sink. Sink water pressure a little high-splashed all over the place. Otherwise, it served its purpose. Peephole too high: I am 5'4" and it was 2 1/2" higher. Being on tiptoes was a far reach. "Gift shop" is a snack shop-disappointing. Moving trucks took up parking space every night for 3 nights; check-in night was a Thurs, possibly a happy hour and dark out. I had to circle the hotel 3 times.

Take advantage of the Courtesy Van to go to Town Center; saves driving around looking for a parking space. Bring a swimsuit, unless you plan to drive down to the beach for one and come back for an indoor swim.

I would definitely stay here again. the room was roomy and clean. ALL of the staff were pleasant. Check in and out was quick and easy. Staff were very helpful with my questions about restaurants.

A great getaway
It was at great location, had places near by. The beach was only like 8 minutes away. Had a great experience there even it was one night.
