Great Location!
I was here to go to a school conference at the U of U. It's nothing exciting really, but it was a wonderful stay. The front desk was helpful, the location was amazing!! I'd definitely stay here again.

Not very Royal
Booked Two room heaters didn't work in either room. Had to move to other rooms. Just old and run down inside and out. I wont be back........Ever

Fair price for location
Dirty room, what appeared to be just stains covering the door and wall near the door. Electrical outlet hanging out of the wall between the beds. But for the location and price what do you expect really. The beds werent bad, water was running, all kinds of attractions and dining near by.

Avoid it if you can
Issues: -advertised rate on electric sign outside hotel was not current. "Special" no longer applied. -wireless internet did not work in either assigned room. -in my first assigned room, the carpeted portion of the bathroom floor was completely soaked. it took several attempts to contact the front desk in order to switch rooms. -in my second room, there was NO HOT WATER on the morning of my departure. i did not have time to switch rooms, again, just to take a shower. this made my travel day a lot more unpleasant than it had to be. this motel seemed very poorly managed, particularly in terms of basic upkeep of the rooms. it is cheap, and it is close to downtown and the freeway, but even frugal travelers have the right to dry floors and hot running water in their rooms. i cannot recommend this establishment.

Good
It was nice. It was just what we needed. We were just staying in SLC for a night. Service was nice. It was clean! If you are not too picky you wont go wrong here

Salt Lake City 8/11/10
There some repair work needed in the room. It had the same food at every meal. No protein available, it would have been niced to have freash fruits, yougart and hard boiled or sausage available.

Know your prices before accepting the price. When we arrived at the hotel only to find that it's prices were $59.00 per night verse 73.75 which is what I paid per night.

Great location, clean rooms, breakfast
Great price, clean rooms and hot breakfast. Very ordinary but if you're not spending much time in the hotel it doesn't have to be spectacular. We would stay here again assuming the prices don't go up.

Solid value, good location
Needed to work during the day, which was made easy by free Wifi. Very convenient to convention center and downtown.
