Westgate Park City

It was a beautiful hotel right up next to the mountains. Very nice. Here were the problems: The parking lot was increadibly dirty (dust all over). One of the elevators was under construction and smelled like something died in it. The parking garage gate was not fuctioning right (open when we drove up, wouldn't open when we left#. The romote control for the second TV was not fuctioning #change the volume, but not the channel). I knew the checkout time was 10 AM, but when that time came, it was too early. Very annoying. These are minor problems, but for a four star hotel, I was a little disappointed.

Excellent if all you want is a decent bed slope side

As you've read in other reviews, this resort has 4 buildings that are interconnected via long, oddly located hallways. I prepared myself for that, so it didn't bother me all that much. The room, however, left much to be desired. It had all the promised amenities SCRUNCHED into the absolute least amount of space possible. Manhattan hotel rooms are spacious by comparison!

Tiny, tiny, tiny...

Our one bedroom "suite" was the size of an average hotel room...we were average size adults and could barely navigate the space. A couch was located in the kitchen! There was hardly space to get to the door when the bed was down. No chairs or tables in the room! This ski-in/ski building (Bear Lodge) was a long long hike and schlepping skis up several flights of stairs...for $400 a night...not what we thought (this included a small car, which we upgraded to a 4 wheel drive for an additional $195!) We will not return...However, we loved skiing the Canyons!

family of 7 ski vacation

resort very convenient for ski in and ski out with valet ski services, but layout of buildings confusing and cumbersome; getting from one building to another only on certain floors, having to go up and across and down etc. the various buildings; staff couldn't have been more friendly, courteous or helpful... definitely a 5+ rating to them; amenities in rooms well furnished but a little "tight fitting" on added suite section (esp when couch laid out into bed... could hardly get around it to the bathroom); housekeeping wasn't consistent but could have tracked them down if necessary

Park City Getaway

The location of this hotel was very nice and close to many mountain activities plus the pool and 2 hot tubs were quite nice, but the room was very cramped with very little room for storing any personal items (ie. drawers, closet or counter space). If you weren't there early in the evening for parking in the parking terrace, the only parking available was about 200 yards away in a dirt parking lot. It looks like they had a lot of fun activities that children could participate in, if you were there for an extended stay, but the rooms were so small that after a day or two with my kids ,I would be ready to go home.

Don't be tempted to stay here!

We made our reservation online and they had no record of it when we got there. The desk staff was nice enough, but they gave us a queen sized room instead of King. They couldn't give us a wifi password because they had no reservation from the Internet company. The rooms are very noisy although well appointed for longer stays. The next day they gave us a paper but the maid never came. After calling the front desk, we went to dinner and came back, and it had been straightened a bit, but not cleaned. The manager gave us $50 resort credit but reserving thru the online site instead of thru the hotel made it so they couldn't refund us anything. Worst stay of our trip. It is confusing to get around, and Wednesday everything's closed. The towels were frayed in the bath...really? I wash my car with those!

Sightseeing tip: Short drive from hotel

The Alpine Coasters and Alpine Slides were well worth the all-day pass at a nearby resort. Plenty of family fun for small kids to adults. Just go there and skip this hotel.

Perfect 2 night Honeymoon at the Canyons!!

We had a great time in the Presidential Suite with 2 indoor double wide jetted hot tubs and an outdoor hot tub on 1 of 4 balconies. It was a snowy cool weekend May 26-28, so we used the 3 fireplaces also. The biggest surprise was the waterfall in the steam shower in the master bedroom. Our thanks to the hotel staff for upgrading us to this room for a small additional charge above our planned stay in a regular villa suite.

Great Family Vacation

We went there for spring skiing. The hotel located right at the Canyon Mountain. Very easy access to lifts and other restaurant. It is very convenience, they have everything you need here you don't have to leave resort. The kids love the indoor/outdoor pool. We love the fact that there are several pools in the resort and an adult pool area. The rate I have for the room included ski valet which is great! They take you skis out to the gondola and when you are done skiing they store your skis and dry your booths. I would definitely recommend this place.
