Spring ski trip

I took my 3 year old son on his first ski trip and I was a little nervous about going because he was so young. We went the 1 week of March. It hadn't snowed since February but there was some snow on the mountain. The hotel was 40 min. From the airport. And I first glance the hotel looks a little worn out but as you start maneuvering thru your day it is the perfect place to stay. The room was ok, but we weren't there much. I put my son in the kids club which is inside the grand summit and he loved it! He took an hour ski class each day, extra cost but they pick him up at the kids club and drop him off. The resort is a true ski in ski out. The lifts are right outside the doors. I actually loved the canyons I found it to be more comfortable than deer valley which has no village to walk around after skiing and park city which was very crowed. Over all I loved staying at the grand summit it was a perfect ski vacation. And it snowed the last day we were there it was perfect skiing and looked beautiful.
