Travelodge San Antonio/Near Fort Sam/ATT Center

This hotel was perfect. Close to Fort Sam and also the staff was great. Not to mention the price

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. My door had a problem with the handle. The room had a strange smell. I asked for a handicap accessible room and they do not exist. The front desk told me all rooms are the same. The internet never worked. The air conditioner sounded as if you were pouring a glass of water all the time. The tile floor was unstable and cracked. They had recently tried to paint the room and my kids finger paintings on my refrigerator are just as good and if that was not enough I woke this morning with a very large spider bite on my leg. I found the spider's nest in the curtains with hundreds of baby spiders. STAY AWAY!!!! [...]

Clean and good value for price. No major problems. Wi-Fi very weak signal and mostly not available was annoying. The clerk claimed to be looking into it. Noisy when dumb kids run down enclosed hallway. Some weird floor set-up makes it loud. Otherwise, spacious rooms. Beds not so comfortable but not horrible.

Third time I stay here. It is a good value for the price. Hallways are noisy but nothing outrageous. Older hotel but housekeeping is good. I would stay again.

I had problems from the beginning. The front desk person warned me about the lock on the door of the room I was assigned, red flag! He informed me that I needed to hold the handle up when opening the door. After getting into the room the door wouldn't lock when in closed behind me. I when back to the front desk only to have the clerk argue with me about the lock. The clerk himself had a problem getting the door to lock. Then I was given a smoking suite for the night. The bathroom smelled like bleach, at least it had been cleaned, I think. NOT A GOOD EXPIRENCE. Remember you get what you pay for!!

I was in town on business. I was gone most of the day. So it was only important to have a nice room to relax and sleep. The hotel is older but it is clean. For the price, it is acceptable. I am sure some will complain but they simply need to pay more and stay somewhere else. If that doesn't work out, then they can complain. Room was big and it was nice to have the microwave and refrigerator. Location is remote but it works for the price.

I was allowed to check-in early to tend to my business needs. The rooms are large & spacious and well-kept (minus a couple of tiny ants on the sink countertop... at least they looked like ants). The service was courteous & professional. When I travel back to San Antonio I definitely will be staying here. Because I'm a critical consumer, I read the internet ratings of this hotel. They appeared to be lukewarm. The only negative common rating experience was finding the hotel. If you are using Map Quest, Garmin, etc. etc. you may never arrive! :0) The hotel needs to update its address on the internet. This is unfortunate due to its accessbility off the I-35 corridor. PLEASE UPDATE the hotel's address. It's quite easy to get to IF the address is accurate. The continental breakfast pales in comparison to my stay at other hotels. I assumed that they would increase the offerings considering there are no restaurants in the immediate vacinity (i.e. walking distance). Other than that, this hotel far exceeded my expectations. My 8-day stay was without incident and I have no complaints (only observations / recommendations to increase occupant satisfaction).

A quiet hotel at a great price; the rooms are not clean appropiately. Great value!!!

I've Stayed here over 10 times and each time its agreat experience. Ialways get first class treatment. The room had new A/C units, new swimming pool was just installed i like the full body towels and the breakfast area is first class.

Hotel is located close to main gate of Ft Sam Houston which was good for the purpose of my trip however it was difficult to get to being on the opposite side of a divided highway in a remote area where a considerable amount of construction was underway. The cleanliness of the bathroom left a lot to be desired.
