OK stay
We had a problem with finding the motel, but it was a plesant stay while attending the basic training exercis. Even though it was a ways from the Air Force base, trafic was fast tho furious going across town. When you sign in you will find an extra charge of $1.50 for the safe which you can delete, and you might as well cause it will be locked.

Great family stay

Not really honest about location.
I stayed there for 9 nights. The location is terrible. Hard to find and not near any stores or restaurants. Vending machines are your closest source of food. The hotel provides brochures of places that deliver but of course aren't any good and are expensive. My stat wasn't terrible but it definately could of been better

My advice is to get groceries and things you can cook in the microwave they provide. Will save you a ton of money.

our stay
My daughter and I went to see her fiance who is in AIT at Ft Sam. The location was great...construction around there was a nightmare. When it is all finished it will be better. Very convenient to downtown and the River Walk once you get the hang of the roads in Texas. The room was okay, the lighting in the bath area was horrible. The staff was super helpful and friendly. The room needs updating...very ugly color on the walls. Overall it was decent for the price.

Ft Sam Travelodge
The hotel is not bad for te price. The staf was very friendly. Thebad part was, if I was in my room when the housekeping staff made their rounds, I did not get room service that day. So I had no clean towels by the end of my stay. Not a huge deal since they are reusable, however, it would have been nice to have my garbage removed every day and get more coffee

staff friendliness
All of the staff were very helpful and friendly. Gave us information for shopping, church and local resturants. The room was large enough, allowing room to move around the bed without knocking into anything. Just wish the television had been in the sitting area instead of in the bedroom area.

You can find almost anything within a 15 minute drive. Just wish it had been a little closer to Walmart.

Very Friendly Manager & Staff
I've Stayed here over 10 times and each time its agreat experience. Ialways get first class treatment. The room had new A/C units, new swimming pool was just installed i like the full body towels and the breakfast area is first class.

Close to Ft Sam Houston
Hotel is located close to main gate of Ft Sam Houston which was good for the purpose of my trip however it was difficult to get to being on the opposite side of a divided highway in a remote area where a considerable amount of construction was underway. The cleanliness of the bathroom left a lot to be desired.
