Travelodge San Antonio/Near Fort Sam/ATT Center

Terrible hotel. Don't ever stay here. The shower was absolutely disgusting and filthy. We asked for it to be cleaned. It never was. Maid service never cleaned room once in 3 days because we were still in the room when they came by and we left by 9 to 9:30 each morning. We asked for extra pillows and the hotel said it did not have any extras? In the whole hotel? The back door to the hotel did not have a lock on the door at all. Hotel was full of partying kids that left numerous beer cans and trash outside. We rented a 2 room suite and the fan that was supposed to move the air between the 2 suites was so loud you couldn't even hear the TV. Kids were constantly running down the halls and upstairs. This was a complete waste of money. No wonder this place was so cheaply priced. You don't get anything remotely close to your money's worth. Do not ever stay here or you'll waste your money. We tried to order delivery from one of the brochures in the room and was told it would take at least 1 hr and 30 minutes for delivery. Even the delivery companies don't want to make a trip there. Room refrigerator wouldn't keep drinks cold. Don't spend a penny on this place. Broken handles on dresser. The list goes on and on. I have nothing good or positive to say about this place. If you read this and stay here anyway, it's all on you. You've been warned.

The hotel is run down, no elevator to the second floor, door handle to my room was so messed up you had to hold it a certain way to get the door open. The deadbolt wouldn't turn and the security bar that you can fold over on the top of the door was totally broke and didn't work. The coffee pot didn't work the whole 3 days I was there and the staff's answer to that was that they had coffee downstairs 24 hrs a day. This hotel is mainly for construction workers because it's cheap and I definitely would not stay there again. Also the internet didn't work for 1 1/2 days and when it did work the signal is so poor you had to find the best place to sit in your room to get the signal. It was not a pleasant experience to stay there and I couldn't wait to get out. It is also not located near any stores or food so if you want something you have to drive 8-9 miles down the road. The staff is friendly but not very knowledgeable to be helpful.

Location was a little difficult to get to the first time, but OK once I got the hang of it. Room was very clean and well kept by the chambermaid. No sign of any bugs or vermin whatsoever.

We booked this hotel because it was the cheapest one. Next time I will pay more for better quality!!!! Overall it was okay for what I paid for it, it just needed better AC, and maybe a little renovating!

not well maintained and room is not working well it is a pity

This hotel is very nice. It's in kind of a weird location but it is very close to downtown San Antonio. The room was very nice and very clean. We went around San Antonio all day and came back to a nice clean room. Overall I'd say this is a decent hotel. The wireless service was kind of weird though. It said the internet was connected but then it wouldn't work. The signal was not strong enough I guess.

A quiet hotel at a great price; the rooms are not clean appropiately. Great value!!!

We got a suite at a great price, free internet and no charge for parking. Much better compared to local hotels in the area.

The hotel delivered exactly what it promised. It is very close to Ft. Sam Huston, which is great for military graduations. It is comfortable enough and economical.
