Super 8 San Antonio SeaWorld/Medical Ctr Area

Refrigorater & microwave oven, high-speed wireless network, large TV, quiet rooms, friendly staff... all these made it a comfortable stay. I would like to give highest evaluation if the bed set is a little better.

Me and my nephew just needed a place to stay overnight. I had to set the a/c at 62 degrees just to cool off my side of the room. The shower made this squealing nose that I had to play around with it to stop. Also the shower didn't have much pressure it felt like a mist really. And there was some stuff still in the fridge from the previous tenant. There was only 1 sugar packet for the coffee and there was some other packet that was open. It wasn't bad for just overnight but thank God that's all it was. I could get over the other stuff but in this heat and humidity they need to fix the a/c. The woman I spoke to on the phone earlier that evening was very sweet and helpful but the guy that was there when I checked in seemed like he could care less about his job there. With a few improvements this place could be better. I'm not sure I would stay again. Especially for the price I paid for. I expect a little more for my money.

dispite the name this hotel is nowhere near seaworld, unless they mean it's in the same city. The staff were nice and helpful and the room was nice if not a little... little. All in all we got what we paid for.

The Super 8 Motel was comfortable and clean, it was a standard size room with desk and a nice sitting chair. The location is more for convience than beauty. It has easy access to interstate and a quick drive to Lackland AFB and SeaWorld. There was a continental breakfast available and the front desk staff was helpful, knowledgable of the area and very friendly.

We only needed a room to sleep in since we were out and about all day. It was great driving distance from sea world. It was comfortable and clean and budget friendly =>

Considering that hotels in this area generally go for much more a night, this was a clean and close alternative. My family was pleased and we didn't even miss those big hotel amenities.

The room I had stayed in was extremely loud from the people above me and to either side of me. I had complained about the noise and nothing was done. I was unable to sleep and due to lack of sleep I was unprepared and unable to focus on the things I needed to do.

WHEN WE GOT TO THE SUPER 8 HOTEL, THE FIRST THING I NOTICED WAS THE TEE TINY POOL! I WAS LOOKING FOR A HOTEL WITH A POOL MY CHILDREN AND I COULD SWIM IN, BUT THIS POOL COULD NOT HOLD 4 PPL COMFERTABLY. WHEN WE GOT INSIDE TO THE COUNTER, THE CLERK DID NOT SEEM HAPPY. ON A SCALE OF 1-10 I WOULD GIVE HER A 5. SHE DID NOT SMILE BUT SHE DID SAY THANK YOU AND ENJOY YOUR STAY. WHEN ENTERING THE HALLS WE WERE HIT WITH AN ODD SMELL. IT WAS A COMBINATION OF TOBACCO SMOKE, MOLD, AND BLEACH. WHEN WE ENTERED THE ROOM IT WAS THE SAME. IT WAS VERY OVERWHELMING. THE SHOWER HAD NO PRESSURE AT ALL!! THE DOUBLE BEND WERE NICE AND COMFERTABLE. IT WAS ONLY 5 MILES FROM SEA WORLD AND THE DRIVE WAS NOT BAD. WE PLAN TO RETURN NEXT YEAR TO SEA WORLD BUT WILL HAVE TO SERIOUSLY CONSIDER STAYING AT THIS HOTEL AGAIN.

there was 8 of us that ranged from the ages of 7 - 43. at first the teenagers seemed like they were dissapointed in the swimming pool it was kidney shaped only 5 ft deep. but didnt take them to long to realize it was perfect especially when they did not have to many people to share with it. rooms were kept very clean. staff was nice. had to hunt down towels a few times, no biggy. continental breakfast was just fine. perfect for the 103.00 per room price, especially when we needed 2 rooms. close to lackland afb, downtown and airport. was perfect for us.
