Super 8 San Antonio/Airport

Not worth $88 dollars!!!!! I stayed at a La Quinta at Medical Center for that price and it was wayyyy better!! There were plaster marks on their walls and the walls were not completely painted. They had lamps hiding white putty marks where they had not painted. The microwave didn't work. The toilet would move off the floor.... and they said this place was just renovated. There was a cigarette mark on the sheet and it smelled like someone had been smoking in there. I told them and they pretty much said I was lying and that they inspect everything. Yea Right!!!!! You could hear people talking clearly! The staff was not helpful.. I told them of the problems and all they did was say sorry and didn't offer anything to make it better.

the gentlemen behind desk who also picked me up at airport was very helpful at bringing me teabags for my illness also. helped me everything I needed.

We got there and they wanted 2.00 for a cleaning charge but they couldn't charge my card for anything under 5 dollars so we had to go find a ATM and pull cash.then I asked for a non smoking room and they gave me a smoking room I called the front desk she said.cause I was a pre paid customer they would not move us but she said.she could give me a air freshner for the room. There were no blankets when we cked in but there were red blood stains on the ones they gave us. House keeping walked in the room while we were alseep and didn't even knock

I was on a business trip and needed a room for one night. Staff was accomodating, wi-fi worked great, a/c worked and room was clean. Perfect for what I needed. Not a hotel I would stay if I had family with me. If your family likes amenities and at least some luxuries this is not the place. Otherwise suited my need for an inexpensive over night stay.

the location was great close to the airport which we wanted. As for the room there was a lot lacking. The bathtub was dirty, had to clean it before we could use. There were no hangers, iron but not ironing board, a hole in the wall by the bed, wires were hanging where the smoke detector was suppose to be. Not a good experience.

we were stunned to find a used condom in the toilet when we walked in. Not only did it give us the heebie-jeebies, but made us question the sanitation and safety of the room. There was also a lot of trash dumped all over the ground just outside the back entrance. I can be pretty flexibe when it comes to savings, but this was beyond reproach!

We selected this hotel by default as it met all of the criteria we needed for an overnight stay including pet-friendly, close to my parents and had a refrigerator (for my dog's insulin). I didn't expect much, but was very impressed. Granted, it was under the flight path, but we know what to expect if you stay near an airport. And, it wasn't bone rattling. The staff was very friendly and accomodating, our room was large and clean, we couldn't hear any of our neighbors, and they actually grassy areas for the dogs. Many times we have made reservations at hotels that are "pet friendly" and had to walk several blocks to find an appropriate place for them to do their business. What really surprised me was the bed. It was one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in. Better than those of the Bellagio, Venetian and Hotel Pierre, believe it or not.

Overnight stay and it was worth the money for what we paid however the surrounding area was not the safest near the propety.
