Luxurious hotel just a short walk to the River Walk in San Antonio
Some of the 129 rooms at the Riverwalk Plaza Hotel & Suites on the south bank of the River Walk have a balcony, and many offer a view of the river itself, which is just 15 yards away. The fourth floor has a deck laden with teak lounge chairs, palm trees and heated pool. The fitness center nearby has towels, bottled water and plenty of TVs. The business center never gets a rest, as it is open 24 hours and offers printing, fax, notary and courier services, along with computer workstations. Good location for the price
We took tours and enjoy the riverwalk. It was a awesome trip and I think it really top the last couple of trips we have made.

A Hotel with Character
I was at a meeting for the week of April 11th. The staff was very helpful. I will definately stay there again.

Great hotel
This hotel had charm, cleanliness and a friendly staff. It is located in a central location for the Alamo, Riverwalk and Mexican market. We were here for basic training graduation and it was a easy drive to Lackland AFB. The drawback was the restaraunt in the hotel. The food was overpriced and not very tasty and the tub had a slow drip.

La Margarita restaraunt in the mexican market area was fantastic. So was the pizza at Central Park Pizza just a block from the hotel.

Location is perfect for all downtown
Central location for the Alamo, Riverwalk and all restuarants. The staff is most accommodating. View of the city and River perfect.

old, good bed and A/C indoor parking
End of Riverwalk area. good location for most of San Antonio downtown and tourist areas, not as expensive at the big hotels but just as close. Service was very good except for the dining. Slow, coffee was bad everywhare in San Antonio? even at starbucks? service at breakfast/dinner was very slow and food was only fair but prices were high. typical for any tourist area. I would not return to San Antonio for any but work or visit friends. Overrated city for tourists

Good experience
Location of the hotel was excellent for my needs. The staff were very kind, helpful and courteous. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to San Antonio and wanting to stay downtown.

Just mediocre
The hotel was nice for the most part. Pros: nice rooms, updated and cute decor throughout hotel, nice staff, mini fridges, right by riverwalk, etc. Cons: walls are paper thin, I kept thinking there were people in my room. No hot tub, just a pool. And we ate downstairs at Signature Tapas for breakfast- worst food on the whole trip.
