Red Roof Inn San Antonio SeaWorld / NW

The room was supposed to be non-smoking but smelled of smoke. When we questioned them about it they said it was non-smoking, however, we found an ash tray in the room. There was hair in the sheets and requested a linen change and they said to come get the sheets and we could change them. There were toe nail clippings in the floor at the edge of the bed. This place was bad.

Asked if they can change the bed and they did not. Need to change the bed myself.

The hotel had no extra pillows, the pool was green and the pool light was floating and still attached to the wires. It was clean and the staff was friendly. It could just use some more attention to maintenance.

I read previous reviews and some people said it was clean, others said it was dirty. I’m not super picky so I figured if they forgot to vacuum or empty trash, no big deal. We just need a place to crash for an early flight the next day. I’ve never staid at a place this dirty. I imagine motels that charge by the hour are dirtier, but having never been to one I can’t confirm that. The dresser and table top were sticky. The toilet paper holder broken. The tub was black (stains I think). Other minor stuff such as floor not vacuumed. But the icing on the cake was the dirty toilet! I don’t believe the person who cleaned it last did anything but the inside of the bowel. It was filthy. It even had a large amount of urine at the base of the toilet! My 6 year old asked why the bed was so hard. It had no padding. I got maybe 1 hr sleep that night. I think the sheets were clean. I smelled bleach.

The room we received had no hair dryer, little room no chairs, noluggage rack and the coffee machine in the lobby only worked 20% of the time. Red Roof Inn does have a special front desk person who went out of her way to relocate us to a bigger area. Close to SeaWorld but never again.

The hotel was very close to Sea World. Other than that I would never stay there again. The rooms were not completely clean and there was an odor that seemed to linger in the hallway and room.

The hotel was easy to find and in a good location for what we were looking for. The woman at the front check in was not very friendly and seemed to be irritated with my infant who was fussy and hungry (she had just been in a car for 5 hours). We got to our room and it was decent. Nothing special. The bathroom was gross though. There were paint chips on the floor and the tub was gray. The mattresses on the beds were completely worn out and my husband and I both wound up with really sore backs. I doubt we will ever be staying at this location again.

we did not spend much time at the hotel. The room was clean, bud did not have much in it. Low quality beddings, towels, etc.
