Crumby hotel in crumby area
We were in town for business and booked a 6-night stay in this hotel. Arrived after 10pm. The location is a bit sketchy. Checked in. Staff was great. But our room had a scary vibe. The lighting made it seem like a horror film. The room was frayed, looked outdated. The mattress had dried blood stains. The room was fine for the price, but we got a strange feeling staying there. After one night, we canceled our remaining nights and moved to another hotel.

Disappointed angry and lied to.
It was overpriced. Non caring front desk. Did not answer my calls. Phone jack was not working. No internet. Although they advertised they had it. I was still charged for a night but choose not to stay. Dont be fooled like i was..

DON'T BOTHER
THE HOTEL ADVERTISES AIRPORT SHUTTLE..THAT WAS THE ONLY REASON WHY I RESERVED THERE..WHEN I CALLED THEM FROM THE AIRPORT THEY SAID THEIR SHUTTLE STOPS OPERATING AT 7PM...I HAD TO GET A TAXI AND PAID $35. THE WIFI INTERNET DOES NOT WORK IN EVERY ROOM, ONLY IN ROOMS NEAR THE LOBY; HOTEL CARPET IS FILTHY....

Red Roof Inn San Antonio I-10 East
Pool availability in question, 2 locked gates with signs 'closed', one gate open with sign on it indicating re-opening at 3pm, at 4:30 I questioned staff who had to check with maintenance. No trash can in room. Asked for and received extra towels. Breakfast area needed work, waffle iron not properly in place, adjusted myself. Recent painting done, somewhat sloppy. Hotel location good for what was needed.

the guy had trouble with the reservations. then they didn't want to switch us rooms when our ac didn't work, cause they were sold out w reservations. eventually they switched us rooms and made things better. other than that it was a good stay.

pretty good i think
nice sized rooms. smaller restroom, but they cleaned well, smelt great in rooms. we stayed for business and it was well worth goin back to. oh and wonderful breakfast. waffles n everything!

great mexican restaurant called jacalitos. its on the other side of nw w white blvd or whatever. Great tasting food, and at a great price. oh and a bar on the back end of the building. also a plus.
