Best Buy

We went mostly to Riverwalk. This hotel is close enough but not in the high rates. Easy access. Rooms were clean (didn't smell smoky)and AC worked great...SA was 104 + degrees!! Offered shuttle to Riverwalk but was 20 per person EACH way! CRAZY We did have to pay $10 to park but way better than 40 each for round trip!

Get your moneys worth!

My stay at the hotel was a very good one. The room was nice and neat when we walked in. The a/c was on which made the room feel extra comfy, especially with Texas weather. The staff was friendly, we kind of didnt want to leave the room because it was so comfortable! But overall it was a great hotel for a very inexpensive price.

fantastic family getaway

Bad Stay

The website of Red Roof Inn stated that all of the rooms at this location had a mini fridge which was false..I brought it to the attention of the manager and he moved me to another room and that room still did not have a fridge so he again moved me for the 3rd time and finally was able to get a room with a fridge..The A/C in all of the rooms that I was in looked beat up..The plastic cover that covers the AC unit itself in all of the rooms looked like someone had got angry and kicked the AC units and cracked the cover that covers the unit..It looked horrible..I was alitte scared that I would be balmed for that..The rooms were not as clean as they could have been..I saw rust and what I believe to be mold growing around the soap dish of the shower..The hotel was not as close to downtown and the riverwalk as I thought which is what I wanted..When I first got to the hotel the clerk at the desk could not find my reservation..I had to call Orbitz customer service(which was also a bad experience) to get there help in locating my reservation.They had somehow reserved my room under someone elses name which I believe is probably not the fault of the hotel..My reservation number that Orbitz gave me did not even register to my name but instead someone elses..The 1 positive thing that I do have to say is that the staff was very friendly and helpful and tried their best in resolving my issues..I would not recommend this hotel to anyone unless the issues that I stated were corrected

excellent price great location

We went to seaworld, got rained out for 2 days, it was great coming back to a very quiet hotel. The hotel was very easy to find. The staff were very courteous.
